In the past this has been the most comfortable place to ask for help. I don t mean it was great or it helped fix all my problems, but it was safe enough. I felt the least amount of judgement here from staff compared to other places. The food is amazing! There was no smoking allowed so that made working on my problems even harder. They allowed my car to stay in the hospital parking lot which took away that stressful situation. They had ONE nurse that spoke to me with such kindness that this place just worked for me during that stay. The doctors I can t say helped at all. At all. It was more of a safe place to work on myself while being supervised by doctors.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Clients requiring treatment in an inpatient rehab are often those who need stabilization support as they exit detox or contend with a life crisis. Residing at the treatment facility enables clients to focus exclusively on their recovery. They engage in extensive psychotherapy and recovery-focused life skills training to support their sustained sobriety and prepare them for outpatient and community-based care. Evidence-based holistic therapies, such as experiential therapy and meditation, are also commonly available.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients participating in a rehab aftercare program receive a variety of services designed to support their sustained sobriety and successful reintegration into their home, workplace, and community. Rehab aftercare services may include formal outpatient care, such as addiction counseling and recovery education provided in an outpatient treatment center. They may also include community-based services, including 12 step program induction, peer coaching, and vocational training. These programs are typically designed in partnership with the client's case manager.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Idaho provides treatment for addiction to drugs. It usually includes a combination of treatment methods that can involve counseling, medication, and a variety of evidence-based therapies. Programs are designed to help individuals manage their substance use disorder long-term.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I have been coming here for the last 4 years . Very hard. I will say Dr Byrd actually listened to me but then he left and moved out of state. He assured me that I was in good hands with Diana Neff. I had an open heart and mind about this and the first appointment went well but since then everything has gone downhill. I feel that I m not being taken serious and that makes me feel hopeless. I just keep getting prescribed higher doses of medications that don t work or are causing more intolerable problems instead of trying something entirely new. I feel like giving up on this place.

Their outpatient services have some of the most unprofessional, rude, and condescending staff I have EVER worked with in my 7 years of using mental health services. Even before I started having issues with them, they have always been super difficult to work with. Nearly impossible to get ahold of your provider without having to go through two or three receptionists. I feel that I am not taken seriously because of my age and that my treatment is affected by this. My psychiatrist also treated me with a bias almost as if I was lying about my symptoms. I don t know why, but I attribute it again to my young age. These people clearly don t know how to properly treat those suffering from mental illness. I am lucky that mine is not as severe as others, but it makes me hurt to think about how they treat severely ill patients if this is how they re treating me. Don t take your loved ones here if you actually want to see them get better. I m glad to be getting away from these horrible providers.

When I was around 11 or so, I admitted after being emotionally abused by my then adoptive family and locked in their bathroom. The nurses and doctors there were all so caring, and when I told them what was happening to me they immediately got me away from those awful people who hurt me. I can't thank them enough. However, when I went to leave, a councilor gave a news clipping of a failed foster home attempt where the kid burned his house down, and told me to behave.

I called my Dr office for a referral at the beginning of Sept for a daughter struggling with severe depression and anxiety. She needs counseling. It's been tough lately!! It took several days just to get the referral and now it's Sept 23 and I still don't have an appointment!! Over three weeks later, not even an appointment. I've made about 6-7 calls over the last three weeks and all I hear is they'll call you in a couple days.I called again today and finally found out they want me to go back to the resource center and ask to go somewhere else because of a missed appointment during covid. My daughter didn't listen to her messages, she's a young 18 and missed the appointment so I spoke with the manager Christina today apologizing and explaining and entreating her for some assistance. She was very judgemental and unkind and told me I'd have to call again and go elsewhere. Her callousness was so disappointing. If she had at least said she understood my concern, or sympathized at all it would've been fine, but she was rude and condescending. I feel like she needs some lessons in learning how to treat people. Maybe it's better we have to go somewhere else! So I'm making calls and have been on hold for another 25+ minutes waiting to try to get an appointment somewhere.

Been going here for nearly 10 years, both inpatient and outpatient are really great at what they do and have only had minor differences with a couple of the staff total. Very clean and well run, they know what they are doing and my doctor is incredibly professional. Just be weary starting anti psychotics, getting off them can be dangerous and difficult but some people need them.

This hospital is so much better than the place across the street! The nurses and the techs actually listen to you and treat you like a human being. The cafeteria actually made dietary accommodations for me because they knew i was concerned about my weight.
