Horrible treatment of me specifically. Constantly the female staff would try to talk to me when I just wanted to be left alone, they d walk up to me and remind me of rules I didn t break. Watch how they respond to this as well. I ll leave a second one star if they do

Anyone who would give a review above a Minus 1 has mental problems! Where should I start? The daytime staff is incompetent at best. Jasmin is the most timid person i have ever met. She was so clueless that simple housing forms such as rehab for housing was far too difficult and it took 3 days and she deeded a sample form from her supervisor the infamous Iffy to provide one! How about Rimmi she claims that she doesn't like people at all! Glad you get paid to work with people. She had some kinda of break down and was taken away in an ambulance. She is rude and mean at best! Now on to the great leader IFFY! She told us we eat too much therefore no more food for the week! It was Tuesday! She is a belligerent bully! Who must recieve a bonus check to stay under budget. She is so stingy when it comes to feeding the consumers and being under budget! My favorite was the night we got a nice 10 inch plain pizza for 12 people for dinner! For lunch we could have 4 different sandwiches all requiring bread which we didn't have because she claims we eat to much! We didn't have a working can opener...she told me to open it with a chef knife!!! Anyway stingy with all the food. They would bring frozen meats such as ground turkey or beef or chicken legs at 5pm. After I would ask 3 or 4 or 5 time during the day! Thats just the food which I could ellaobrate how gross the house is and how not one staff members cares unless there is a planned inspection. She demands that use all of our food stamps to feed ourselves. No one works cleans anything except for me. I would mop twice a day! Clean the entire house period !. The house should be destroyed! Raw sewage leak under the kitchen! The staff does absolutely nothing to help you obtain housing! They simply discharged us and handed you a piece of paper with the address to a shelter in DC and said its so nice well its absolutely not! Absolutely pathetic Safe journey house should be called Slum hell house! Everyone should be fired! Do an inspection without notice and see the vary poor conditions! To take advantage of the state resources and pay any of them is unbelievable and to treat human beings like trash is completely unexceptable! How do I know all of this I experienced it for 10 horrible days!

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
