About Rocky Mount Treatment Center

Rocky Mount Treatment Center is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. They are an outpatient facility that treats people with opioid use disorder. The clinic is open seven days a week.

They offer medically assisted treatment to people recovering from opioid addictions. They are a licensed methadone clinic. Methadone is a synthetic narcotic that mimics the pain killing effects of opioids in your body. However, it does not have the same euphoric effect that other opioids have.

You will come in for treatment daily until they can find a dose that will stabilize you. Eventually, you will be able to take the treatment by yourself at home. You will be tested for drugs regularly.

They also offer group and individual therapy to their clients. Your treatment will be customized to your needs. The goal of private therapy is to change your attitude in order to change the way you behave. Group therapy will let you talk to other people who are experiencing the same thing you are.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Hello this is Robert Austin, just wanted to say Vanessa was amazing when I was there,I really feel like she genuinely cared about her patients and wanted the best. I'm really happy to hear she is the director I'm sure she will do great things. Methadone and Subutex have bad reputations but they allow people to live normal lives and become productive members of society again. If u have a loved one tell them to give the clinic a try it may save them. Hope u r doing well Vanessa always. I really wish I still went there but I cannot do Suboxone but I appreciate u trying.

Staff is unprofessional and also they make me feel like they show favoritism to some of their patients and it's very unprofessional and uncomfortable to be around. Also they have no respect for the handicapped. I always bring my mother up here and she has an bad leg. But it seems that someone whose not even handicapped or that doesn't have an handicapped sticker always parked in the spot.

Sorry about that. We hope you find a better place for treatment. Good luck. The Staff

Can I come in to see a doctor even though Opiates are not completely out of my system? I would really like to see about getting some type of prescription for bupinorphine, before my withdrawals get too terrible. Thank you.

My experience at RMTC was a great life learning experience. First I had to come to believe I had a problem and then the staff could do what they do best. Not only did I get the help to treat my addiction I also learned a lot about my character defects that I didn't realize I had. This was tough to come to terms with but the more willIing I was to work on myself no matter how painful or uncomfortable it made me feel the more I was able to get out of the program. I am still sober and clean 7 months later and I am constantly working on becoming a better person. The staff and TA's are amazing people. The food was top notch. The equine therapy something I was skeptical about but it did wonders for me. I highly recommend this treatment center. My only advice to anyone going would be to push your ego aside and be ready to do whatever is asked of you no matter how much it eats at your ego or pride. If you are willing to dig deep inside yourself you will gain a tremendous amount of insight on what makes you tick and and how to curb it for the better. It will put you down the right path to continue to better yourself for the rest of your life.Jon T.

Very sorry it didn't work out. But trust me it is not about the money. We have been in business for 10 years and we barely break-even. The staff does a magnificent job with what they have. Thank you and best regards.

There are 3 amazing staff here Cathy roundtree , vannessa and Karen, I thank you for saving my life and helping me its been such a struggle, buprenorphine I have bipolar disorder and second suicide atmp they refused methadone I cannot take but I tried it a week of no opiates and it gave me the worst seizure ever. So I been out of treatment since and it frustrated me cuz someone at hospital put n my record I oded on my take-homes which was a lie and instead of requesting I bring them in to prove it I was just told I had to take bup. Robin was the rn at time. I feel this was not professional and they could have tried other approach to it I mean u have people mixing all kinds of drugs but they still have their methadone. I know personally a girl who took benzos on a reg and she had like a week of methadone take home I just feel I was not treated fairly because of a mental health condition
