Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Clients stepping down from inpatient care or who prefer to remain at home while receiving intensive treatment may choose to enroll in an outpatient rehab. Outpatient day treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are designed for clients requiring more robust supervision and daily treatment. Standard outpatient services enable clients to attend addiction counseling and recovery education throughout the week, with many centers offering weekend, night, and evening sessions to accommodate clients' work and family schedules.

inpatient iconInpatient Rehab

Inpatient rehab provides a highly supportive and structured environment for clients in early recovery and for those who are at an elevated risk of relapse. Clients remain at the treatment center for the duration of their programs, though some inpatient rehabs offer supervised group excursions. Clients engage in intensive individual, group, and or family counseling. They may also receive recovery-focused life skills training to support their sustained sobriety and community reintegration. Many programs offer holistic therapies, such as meditation.

aftercare iconAftercare

Clients engaged in a rehab aftercare program approach recovery as a life-long process. Drug rehab aftercare encompasses myriad services designed to promote clients' continued sobriety as they reintegrate into their home, workplace, and community. Clients generally partner with their case managers and recovery team to define their recovery needs and goals and to identify and access the services they need to promote them. These often include peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction.

12-step icon12-Step

Participants in 12 step programs focus on the development of spiritual, psychological, and emotional skills to support sustained recovery. They regularly attend 12 step meetings, which are free, peer-directed, anonymous, open to the public, and accessible daily in most communities. Specialized formats are also widely available, including groups for seniors, teens, and families. Though these programs are rooted in the belief in a higher power, religious affiliation is not required.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

Professional intervention services can help families navigate issues related to planning and executing an intervention in Mississippi. Understanding that heightened emotions and complex family dynamics are present, an intervention specialist helps by organizing and executing the intervention while allowing everyone to express their feelings. They also make sure the addicted loved one feels cared for instead of attacked, and they can also help create treatment plans for the individual and their family members.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

During early phases of recovery, 24-hour clinical care in Mississippi provides several advantages that can improve recovery outcomes. First, medical staff can prescribe medications to manage withdrawal. Second, staff are available 24/7 to address mental health issues that arise. Third, any other medical issues can be addressed, such as illness or medication management. Lastly, this intensive level of treatment can provide nutritional care to further improve the individual's health.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

For those seeking help with addiction, a drug rehab in Mississippi offers the necessary care to achieve long-term recovery. Options include inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and long-term drug rehab in Mississippi.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

dialectical iconDialectical Behavior Therapy

Treatment that includes dialectical behavior therapy in Mississippi gives you specific tools for managing challenging situations. You'll learn how to identify and change unhealthy thought patterns. You'll also attend group training sessions where you can start applying the skills you're learning in treatment.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

desert iconMotivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

The goal of trauma therapy is to help you heal from the effects of witnessing or experiencing a traumatic event. You are provided support to process those traumatic memories and then develop coping strategies to improve your emotional resilience and ability to cope in society.

couples-therapy iconCouples Therapy

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

life-skills iconLife Skills

Often, substance use and mental health disorders weaken basic life skills. This makes daily functioning a challenge and can lead to a cycle of addiction. To help you break free from this cycle, drug rehab programs include integrated life skills training which helps you redevelop or strengthen the life skills you need for success.

I highly recommend this facility. The methodology used is effective and people were extremely kind. My son went in 2016, I thought I had reviewed them, not sure what it s like now, but we got our son back who had been lost in drug use for 10 years.

A guy with a pacemaker was having what everyone thought was a heart attack and they wouldn't even call 911. Finally after his brother drove 2 hours to come pick him up he was able to go to the hospital.
