outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs are a collection of highly individualized services designed to promote long-term recovery. These services evolve as your needs change. Case managers and recovery teams typically begin formulating the rehab aftercare service plan early in the recovery process to facilitate your reintegration back into the home, workplace, and community.

12-step icon12-Step

12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Sober living houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle. Their sober living facilities are located in the heart of sunny Fort Lauderdale and the Florida Beaches.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

At certain points in the recovery process, it's important to have support available 24/7. 24-hour clinical care offers a safe environment in which to recover from drug or alcohol addiction in peace, knowing medical detox and other treatment will happen with professionals on hand.

Heart icon Treatment

alcohol iconAlcoholism

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

drugs iconDrug Addiction

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

check iconDual Diagnosis

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

mental-health iconMental Health and Substance Abuse

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Hand holding medical sign icon Clinical Services

inpatient-file iconCognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

couples-therapy iconCouples Therapy

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

art-brush iconCreative Arts Therapy

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

medical-detox iconExperiential Therapy

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

family iconFamily Therapy

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

intervention iconGroup Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

mental-health iconIndividual Therapy

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

life-skills iconLife Skills

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

desert iconMotivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical approach to helping people with substance abuse issues and other conditions shift behavior in positive ways. It is more goal-oriented than traditional psychotherapy, as MI counselors directly attempt to get clients to consider making behavioral change (rather than wait for them to come to conclusions themselves). Its primary purpose is to resolve ambivalence and help clients become able to make healthy choices freely.

house-medical iconTrauma Therapy

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

This place is chaotic, if you re someone with any other options for treatment, I d recommend looking into them. My experience here was characterized by drama, relapse, fighting, and thievery. The techs do what they can and I respect that but Zach, Erik, and the rest of the higher ups don t do enough to make sure it is a stable, recovery-enabling environment. I found a better place for myself and as soon as I asked about a transfer, they took my phone from me to make it harder to do myself. They gaslit me, claiming I wanted an easier way out when really all I wanted was a peaceful environment to focus on my recovery. These people are grimy, and while I understand that may be Normal in this industry, I know for a fact there are better alternatives for treatment, places started by addicts, for addicts. If you are seeking help for yourself or a loved one, I d recommend you thoroughly view your options instead of listening solely to a therapist or a representative under harmony.

this place changed my life. rose and heather are amazing techs that care and always have a good attitude. my therapist stephen taught me a lot about myself and helped me change my priorities. the nurse alex and case manger raquel put together a solid foundation as clinical staff, and the director zach is committed, kind, and does an amazing job managing the facility. the housing is accommodating and i found it a good atmosphere for recovery. at RIT you can always talk to a staff member and they will help you find a solution!

My son went to Recovery Intune in December he started off in the PHP program which is more structured his 1st therapist Stephen Montgomery was fantastic he was very proactive and informative. My son ask to switch to a women therapist because he said that he can relate better to a women. After he switch to the new therapist Jennifer it went down hill from there she never called me or my husband to introduce herself so I didn t even know she was his therapist then she switch him over from PHP to IOP my son is not independent so he needs that structure in order to do well. If she would had knew his case she would had known that IOP was not the right decision. After she gave the administration approval to switch him he ran away that was the worst day of my life. I was not able to get in contact with no one at the facility so I started calling numbers that I had; I finally got an answer and she stated she was going to help me she never did. I had to keep calling her over and over again come to find out she was my son therapist the one that moved him from PHP to IOP she never said not once that she was his therapist until the last conversation that I had with her after calling her more than 10 times. So my son called me and gave me the intake department I spoke to a lady name Rose she sent someone to go and get him at this point it was too late he didn t want to go back so he didn t get in the van she sent someone else to go and get him and they couldn t find him at this point I thought he was lost because his phone was going straight to voice mail so I called the police and put in a missing person report. The next night he called me thank God and told me he was at another facility I told the new facility to take him to the airport so he can come home. My son been home since Wednesday and I didn t get one called from Recovery Intune to see if he was safe please please if you want a peace of mind and you live out of state DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES TOO THIS PLACE PERIOD!!!!!! I almost had a heart attack and stroke worrying about my son. This place do not care about your love ones only the money

My stay there was only 2 weeks back in November of 2023 and I left Against Medical Advice. AMA. It was a joke. I regret going there. The gentleman that came to the other facility that I was at for my Residential hype up this place to be a best choice. However; once I got there I should ve spoken up and asked to be relocated. The clinical location was a rundown facility that needed MAJOR work inside and out. The classrooms were unpleasant and the furniture was stained and smelled. The rooms were not that big either. Their cafeteria was an office with only 2 tables and 5 chairs total. That wasn t enough to seat 15 people. The food provided was disgusting up until I left they considered their clients opinion on the food but still gross. No beverages were provided either. The transportation was horrible. The vans had no A/C, absolutely dirty inside with stained seats and some were uncomfortable. They also smelled horrible. With all the money that they are taking from our insurance I was shocked at what I was in. There was only one therapist that I liked but didn t really get one on one with her but she was amazing. The older gentleman shouldn t even be a therapist. He was always rude and disrespectful. His comments were hurtful. For someone who is supposed to help with a person s mental health was making it worse. The staff that was at the residential were horrible except 2 of them. One truly cared but the others no care in the world. Complained about the job and the clients. I do not recommend anyone going here. Do your research first and NEVER listen or trust the person who is meeting with you to discuss this place.

The treatment here was non existent. I spent 1 month here and nothing was achieved. The facilitators were ineffective and the clients were constantly relapsing. The therapist added nothing to my experience during my time.

The Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) are astoundingly uncaring and very rude about the recovery of these clients. On multiple occasions these BHTs clearly showed a disinterest in their job and the clients there. Not only is there a lack of consistency in the professionals there, the therapists are overworked. There is no confidence with every employee there at Recovery In Tune. One therapist, one group facilitator, one director of operations, either resigned or got fired. This place needs to be investigated for the lack educated professionalism regarding substance and mental health rehabilitation. I would not recommend this place to anyone. God bless to anyone there experiencing the chaos and environmentally induced anxiety, recovery is not easy but this place does not need to be in business.

Editing this review a year later to say: the original review is completely untrue, they gathered all clients together one day and forced us all to leave positive reviews on Google.Really Helped me. The housing is very nice and clean and the therapists are all great at what they do, especially Sarah and Rosana. If you're considering coming here I would definitely say that its a good choice, in a great location. My only complaint is that sometimes things can be a bit disorganized and communication can fall flat, however it is mostly minor in comparison to the amount of growth I've been able to make with the help of this facility.

This place is such a disappointment. Most of the technicians did not care about the clients. You ask a technician for anything they would act like it was gonna kill then and would get super rude and hateful with you. They also let clients to go with out their meds and would take forever getting them refilled. They wouldn t let me leave on my discharge date and said if I left I would be leaving against medical advice and wouldn t give me my medications back. Please please PLEASE do not send your friends or loved ones here this place does not care about your recovery they only want your money. They also let clients get high and let clients go into other clients rooms and steal their stuff this place needs to be shut down ASAP.
