I had a cloud over my head for some time. Coming to Recover Wyoming and talking about it gave me clarity from bottling up so much from my use. They care and it shows. Thank you Recover Wyoming for your dedication for someone like me and the difference in the community in all that you's do.

When called wanting information on getting into treatment, Martin no help pretty much got me off phone soon as he could. Will never have anything do with that organization again

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

For many years I have been able to watch as this organization has grown into what is has become and be a part of what it is going to continue to become. The vision that Laura had all those years ago for people to just be able to have some hope for something different instead of addiction and degradation in a setting of welcoming and judgement-free helpfulness. By promoting many pathways to recovery for the person and family, there are new beginnings happening all the time in our community. The PATH program, Peer Specialist training, QPR, and other hopeful and helpful endeavors that the wonderful staff get to help with and serve people in have filled a needed and wanted niche. Here's to many more wonderful decades to come!

I wrote a column on this organization and its laudatory efforts. It was published in the Wyoming Tribune Eagle on December 29, 2016. Let's see if I an provide a link.
