Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Linden Oaks' Residential Stay Program offers additional support for those who may benefit from a structured living environment. A patient's stay may vary from a few days to 30 days ago. The program includes group, family and individual counseling.

Providence place was instrumental in helping me get my life back together. Gary, Joy and Zack as well as all of the managers are a great force in the recovery community. I started my journey of recovery at providence place and I've been sober for almost 2 years. It has been easily the most spiritually fulfilling and productive time of my life.

I had a great experience at providence place. I went into it not wanting to, and left not wanting to leave. The owners and director are truly amazing people that helped push me forward in my recovery, And I am beyond grateful for everything PP has given me a great recovery foundation and fellowship that I didn t think existed. If anyone is in need of sober living, look no further. Truly a great place to start a journey in recovery.

I am forever grateful for this place! The structure and fellowship is exactly what I needed in my early stages of sobriety. I stayed there 9 months and have nothing but good things to say about Joy, Gary, and Zack. They have your best interest always and are super caring. If you want to take sobriety seriously with some great people, this is the place to do it!

My first 6 months of recovery started right here at Providence Place. I sit here almost 14 months sober writing this review with nothing but love and respect for that house. I was introduced to what life looked like when removed from my problems with addiction. There was a lot of work to be done but the in house management team and director along with other residents and past residents took me under their wing and gave me the tools to recover and create a life for myself beyond the bondage of self and shackles of addiction I thought I would never be rid of. Providence Place holds a special place in my heart and they have another house that s affiliated called Park Place that is helping men from all walks of life recover from a hopeless state of mind and body. 5 stars . Highly recommended to any one who is trying to make a positive change in life. Thank you

Providence Place Sober Living is a terrific resource for anyone joining the recovery community in Portland. I was fortunate enough to go from Green Mountain straight to Providence and the transition was great. The structure and management gives the resident everything they need in early recovery. The accommodation in the West End is spectacular and management and ownership is invested in the resident. Couldn't ask for more, owe them a great deal.Tim

I spent 16 months at Providence Place and without a doubt it was the most valuable, informative, life changing and ENJOYABLE stretch of life since childhood! Both houses are incredibly well run and clean. There is no better value in terms of services, living conditions and price. I found the cost of rent to be the lowest of ALL sober houses in Portland.During my 16 months at PP I was able to be part of dozens of men's lives seeking to recovery from addiction. Participate and facilitate recovery related group discussions. Serve as a house manager. Develop incredible friendships, many that will last a lifetime. I could post dozens of life changing instances but suffice to say it was awesome! You get out what you put in. I proudly called the place home and never regretted a minute.Today I continue to frequent both houses weekly. ANYONE CONSIDERING SOBER LIVING SHOULD ADD PP TO THEIR LIST!Brendan P.
