About Private Clinic North

Private Clinic North in Rossville, Georgia, provides treatment for people with opioid addiction. Before you enter the program, you will receive an evaluation to be sure you’re a good fit for treatment. That consists of an interview to understand your specific needs from a medical, psychiatric, and substance abuse standpoint. Drug screens are given before treatment begins.

They offer medication assisted treatment to provide comfort during withdrawal. Methadone and Buprenorphine are used to help reduce cravings and symptoms. Counseling services are included with treatment for a comprehensive, individualized recovery plan. One-on-one counseling is mandatory for all persons in the program, and you will have access to a primary counselor who will address your addiction issue and set future goals.

There’s a day and evening clinic for more convenience. The clinic is state and federally licensed to dispense medications. They’re also affiliated with the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse. The outpatient setting allows guests to still reside at home and work or attend school while obtaining treatment. This person-centered approach offers a means of addressing specific, unique needs based on the individual. This method helps with stabilization and the chance for long-term recovery.

Has helped me and my fiancee live a normal life. We struggled with addiction for 4 to 6 years until we was referred to the clinic. The people there are very helpful and don't look at you like a drug addict. They see you as a person. It really changed our life. Thanks guys.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Aftercare, which is sometimes referred to as continuing care or relapse prevention, is a type of structured care meant to help you continue with the progress you've made after completing an addiction treatment program. Most of the time, you'll continue receiving support after a treatment program by partnering with their case managers and staff to identify and access the resources you need to remain sober.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

While cognitive behavioral therapy in Georgia is unique for each person, this therapy follows a standard structure that has proven effective. Clients first learn about their substance use disorder, then learn and practice techniques such as coping, stress management, and resilience to change their thought and behavior patterns.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Men and women in Georgia may experience Motivational Interviewing techniques while undergoing individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. This approach helps you explore how you feel about drug use and it strengthens your commitment to maintaining treatment. It is particularly useful in the early stages of recovery.

During rehab in Georgia, you may engage in motivational interviewing. This typically lasts one to two sessions and is designed to address any ambivalence you have toward change. It helps you explore your current situation and motivations and commit to making changes for the future.

In trauma therapy, you address the emotional and psychological effects of traumatic events in your life. Your therapist provides you with the tools you need to process those memories and reduce the symptoms. This helps improve your overall mental health and functioning.

During family therapy sessions in Georgia, members address the emotional toll that addiction has had on them. Therapists help your family develop coping strategies and improve the family unit's communication. This provides a stable environment that supports the recovery process.

A great place to go for treatment!! The whole staff at Private Clinic North are very nice and they try to help you with anything that they can!! I would recommend this clinic to anyone that is looking for methadone treatment!! A lot of people that give or have given bad reviews have probably done something to get treated the way they are saying they were done. Me and my significant other have been going to this clinic for a few years now and have been treated great. It's up to you if you want to decrease your dose and come completely off methadone.. They do not take your dose down unless you want them to or unless you are doing something you shouldn't be while taking methadone... I haven't had nothing but a good experience with this clinic..

This place is horrible. They make up their own rules that are not approved by the DEA. They don't care about their patients and care about money only. I had a real prescription and they took my dose down by 15%. I have been on methadone for 15 years in many states. I have never seen a clinic cut your milligrams immediately for a prescription that was valid. This place is a joke and have absolutely NO empathy. Go anywhere but here. I worked in the medical field as a radiology tech, surgical assistant and I know half doctors, RPN's are addicts or in recovery. The doctors and RPN's who work at these places are flunkies who got in trouble for getting caught being addicts.
