outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient Rehab

Inpatient rehab programs are geared toward clients in early recovery. They also provide intensive support for clients in crisis and those at an increased relapse risk. Clients receive housing and meals while in inpatient care, allowing them to focus solely on their recovery. Most programs prioritize addiction counseling but may draw on various psychotherapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, RBT, trauma therapy, and motivational interviewing. Life skills training and holistic therapies are also common in inpatient care.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs are based on a model of continuing care and the premise that recovery is a life-long process requiring ongoing client support. Many rehab aftercare services include outpatient care, but clients often continue to receive support after being discharged from formal treatment. Case managers and care teams typically collaborate with clients to design their long-term care plan, which may include peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction, among other services.

12-step icon12-Step

12 step programs promote participants' sustained sobriety through rigorous and ongoing peer coaching and personal spiritual growth. Participants routinely attend 12 step meetings, which are available multiple times per day, 365 days per year in most communities. This ensures that those in recovery have prompt access to the structure and support they need when they need it. These programs use spiritual precepts to address the root causes of addiction and encourage compassion, self-awareness, forgiveness, accountability, and acceptance.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

A drug intervention in Texas may be necessary if your loved one is in denial about a substance use disorder. You can partner with intervention services to plan and execute an effective intervention that educates your loved one about addiction and encourages them to get the treatment they need. Many rehab centers offer intervention specialists who can facilitate the intervention and help with a seamless transition to inpatient rehab for treatment.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.

I first went to the in patient 30 day facility in Spicewood TX and that place was phenomenal!! They give you everything you need to be successful once out in the real world. I am now in Steve s IOP class and actually look forward to every meeting. There is so much to learn and he has the knowledge to teach it for sure. The program itself is amazing and focuses on what you gain and not what you lose!

This was an amazing experience. The staff is incredibly welcoming and understanding. The counselor (Steve) is one of the most knowledgeable and sincere people I've ever had the privilege to meet and learn from. He welcomes all who are willing to put in the work to improve their lives and help others do the same. This is a safe and judgment-free environment that will not only help you and your loved ones understand the daily struggles of addiction, but will also teach you to understand and appreciate those around you in your day-to-day life. I recommend this class to anyone who is looking for help.

Steve does a great job in helping you understand the reasons behind your addiction and meets you where you are at every time. This program was great, there is one on one counseling, group discussions and education, your loved ones can also come to the education session. I've seen improvement not only in my ability to manage my difficulties, but in our family communication. Steve and the team were encouraging, thoughtful and professional. I would recommend Steve and Positive Recovery to anyone struggling with addiction.

This program has had a huge impact on me. I came in thinking I didn't have a problem and just needed a paper signed for DMV purposes. 8 weeks later I am sober, lost 25 pounds and started to attend church again. I've learned so much about recovery and myself during this process. I am more positive, grateful and spiritual as a result of this program. Steve and his team truly care about you and your life.. Thank you!

I completed two months of IOP at Right-Step/Positive Recovery. The experience was everything I hoped for, needed and more. These people know their stuff! My addiction was, fortunately, not long, but it was bad. I came to them after a rehab stay and wasn t sure how much more they would add to my recovery and they added a ton. They understand addiction the psychoeducation lectures are phenomenal . But even more, they are a phenomenal team of counselors. On the one hand, there is tremendous compassion and grace as is so desperately needed when someone is struggling through the shame and pain of addiction and relapse. At the same time, they can be tough as nails when that is required. I needed some of both. I benefited tremendously and am very glad that I chose to go there. I would highly and unreservedly recommend them to anyone else struggling with addiction!
