Medical briefcase icon Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

After completing some form of inpatient care, many clients transition or step down to an outpatient rehab, while some choose to transition from detox directly into outpatient care. High-intensity outpatient programming, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) is widely available for clients in early recovery, those leaving detox, and those at an elevated relapse risk. Clients in outpatient care generally engage in robust addiction counseling and recovery education, and some also receive medication assisted treatment (MAT).

inpatient iconInpatient

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

aftercare iconAftercare

Rehab aftercare programs are based on a model of continuing care and the premise that recovery is a life-long process requiring ongoing client support. Many rehab aftercare services include outpatient care, but clients often continue to receive support after being discharged from formal treatment. Case managers and care teams typically collaborate with clients to design their long-term care plan, which may include peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction, among other services.

12-step icon12-Step

12 step programs promote participants' sustained sobriety through rigorous and ongoing peer coaching and personal spiritual growth. Participants routinely attend 12 step meetings, which are available multiple times per day, 365 days per year in most communities. This ensures that those in recovery have prompt access to the structure and support they need when they need it. These programs use spiritual precepts to address the root causes of addiction and encourage compassion, self-awareness, forgiveness, accountability, and acceptance.

sober-living iconSober Living Homes

Residents of a sober living home in Texas reside at the halfway house with others who have agreed to abstain from substances and practice sober-living skills. The relationships and accountability formed here can help individuals strengthen their mental health and achieve long-term recovery. Residents share common spaces such as kitchens and back yards, share meals together, and share household responsibilities such as cooking and cleaning.

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

A drug intervention in Texas may be necessary if your loved one is in denial about a substance use disorder. You can partner with intervention services to plan and execute an effective intervention that educates your loved one about addiction and encourages them to get the treatment they need. Many rehab centers offer intervention specialists who can facilitate the intervention and help with a seamless transition to inpatient rehab for treatment.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Ridding the body of harmful, addictive substances, also known as detoxification, is usually the first phase of recovery. Those going through medically assisted detox can be administered medications by a team of medical professionals who are on-site 24/7 to provide different types of therapies that help mitigate withdrawal symptoms.

I wish I had attended this program sooner. Naturally, I was skeptical at first, however, Glenn could not have been a better counselor for this program. His attention, Sincerity, Vulnerability and warmth Made the room comfortable with opening up. If anyone has been recommended or directed to this location and it s wondering whether they should pull the trigger or not, Highly recommend you join.

I had such a great experience with Glenn here at the Positive Recovery Center. He made me feel welcome from day one. The smaller group settings felt comfortable and provided a safe space to be able to speak up about my recovery journey. I learned a lot and was able to make real world connections with a lot of great people. The schedule is flexible and the combination of group sessions and one on one time with a counselor is very beneficial. I honestly think that anyone that gives this place a try is going to be able to find genuine help and hopefully learn a ton of skills to help them along their own path to sobriety.

Response from the owner2 months ago
Jessica, we are honored to walk this path with you. Grateful you were able to learn skills that will help you on your path toward sobriety. Glenn and all of us at PRC are excited to see you thrive in recovery!

Positive Recovery Center - Cinco Ranch saved my life. Their Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) enabled me to focus on my addiction recovery while still managing my other responsibilities. The program kept me motivated and provided me with the tools and support I need to succeed in my recovery. Even though it was a group therapy environment, I felt that the treatment was tailored to my specific situation. After completing the 24-session program, I now have a better understanding of the science behind addiction and a clear path to a happier life free from addiction.I found PRC through my insurance company when I was in the height of crisis on Friday evening before the Memorial Day weekend. I filled out the contact form on their website and was contacted the next day. Despite initially being scheduled for a screening interview on Thursday, which would mean I wouldn t start in the program until the following Monday, I received a follow-up call from the program counselor who was able to conduct the phone screening and have me start that Wednesday. The IOP counselor at PRC Cinco Ranch, Glenn Carosella, is nothing short of amazing! He is friendly, personable, humorous, humble, and compassionate. He uses his experience and personal anecdotes which makes him extremely relatable while maintaining professionalism. Although it was daunting to open up about my addiction issues, Glenn's approach and the way he facilitates group discussions made it much easier. The group therapy format brings together people from all ages and backgrounds with the singular purpose of recovering from substance abuse addiction. The camaraderie I felt was incredible, and I know I have formed new friendships that will last a lifetime.Finding a program in Katy that is welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community was a godsend to me; I didn t have to drive all the way to Montrose to feel like I belonged. If you re reading these reviews because you or someone you love is looking for help in substance abuse recovery, firstly, congratulations on taking this crucial step, and secondly, Positive Recovery Center - Cinco Ranch can help you achieve that if you give them the opportunity!

This review is specifically dedicated to my counselor, Glenn Carosella at Cinco Ranch Positive Recovery Center. When you have been betrayed, buried, burned, back-stabbed and are bleeding to the core of your soul - it is difficult to share your story. This was where I was in life when I entered through the doors of PRC and was greeted with the most genuine smile and welcoming invitation to have a seat. At the time, I was transitioning from the evening classes to morning. As adaptable as I know I am, I was not in my best mood nor had my best face on.Trust was and still is a major issue for me in life. I've been left alone and often in dangerous places by people I thought I trusted. Trust - something that should be safe and secure can become such a questionable ping-pong battle with the wrong people.I was not ready to open up my box or world when I arrived that day in my new setting.Despite the jazz I've been through, Glenn's professionalism, knowledge, intelligence and humbleness radiated through my stubborn mindset of not wanting to really be there. He showed me that it is okay and this was a safe place for me to be me. My new peer group allowed for me to slowly peek my head out of the hard shell I was tucked inside. Each and every person I have met through my journey with PRC has impacted my life in the most magnificent way. At times, I am still so overwhelmed with gratitude I don't know how to contain my appreciation. Why is there no APP in this world full of the best technology that can accurately transcribe this "once in a lifetime" moment.Thank you is not enough to Glenn and each person that touched my soul to the core. All of y'all ignited the fire back into my heart. I am, and will always be, forever indebted with humility for giving me the real Avani back.Blessings and best wishes always to Glenn, the PRC team and the company that helps to save the lives of so many.Avani~

I am very grateful to Glenn Carosella. He has played a vital role in my treatment process. Whether it was in a group setting or individually, Glenn provided feedback that helped me find solutions to problems I have been addressing for some time now. Glenn is a great person to bounce ideas and thoughts off of, and he is an excellent source for additional program related events and activities. A major shout out to him and Positive Recovery.
