You go for testing and gotta call them to get your results. Then they gotta big sign on the tv stating order free condoms and you never receive them. You call and speak with someone at the office and get transferred to a non working extension. Not to mention this is NOT a free clinic!

I truly want to believe this place wants to do good but holy crap so they have horrible communication and little to no care for anyone's time. It's utterly ridiculous how many times I've waited so long for my SCHEDULED appointment while walk-ins come and go like it's nothing. It's an utter travesty. Long bouts of phone tag to schedule an appointment and a nurse line that never seems to be answered to the response of "I'll send another email" to the nurse when you have been sitting in the waiting room for an hour from a receptionist that just doesn't seem to give 2 craps. This is disappointing. Truly.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
IMPACT is an Intensive Outpatient Program consisting of 3 phases over 9 months. This approach allows patients to gain knowledge and skills and begin to put them to use immediately while gradually decreasing recovery structure. Those persons with a minimum of 90 days clean or recently leaving a structured treatment program can continue recovery by enrolling directly into their Continuing Care Program that meet twice a week.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Medical detox is the process of ridding the body of addictive substances in a medically supervised setting. If you become chemically dependent on a substance like alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines (like Xanax or Ativan), quitting abruptly can cause uncomfortable or even dangerous side effects. Licensed medical professionals ensure the process goes as safely and comfortably as possible while monitoring you 24/7 and administering any required medications,

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
hiv-aids-program thumbnail image
HIV/AIDS Program
HIV/AIDS programs support disease prevention and management in high-risk individuals in recovery. Individuals who engage in intravenous drug use and other addictive behaviors are at a higher risk of becoming infected with HIV. Rehab centers that specialize in treating this population typically have a high number of nurses, physicians, and psychiatrists on staff who can make sure both their medical and mental health needs are met.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

They denied us care because one of us has kidney failure. So we couldn’t get treat for HIV because of that. It’s really sad and hurtful , they told us we were a liability to their clinic and they basically don’t want us!

This place is a mess. Great that they offer the help and resources they do, but it is ridiculously unorganized. I have had an issue every single time I ve gone in, little to no direction from staff, long waits even after you made an appointment while they let walk-ins go in in front of you. One time I waited a whole hour and a half to be seen because the nurse assigned to me left for an emergency and nobody checked to see if anyone was assigned to her.A couple weeks ago I made a telehealth appointment, nobody told me how it worked, I called 3 separate times and received a different answer every time, the last nurse I called told me she fixed the appointment to be a telehealth appointment and that I would get a call. Waited an hour past the appointment time for the call so I called them. The nurse who responded said I was supposed to come in and that it wasn t actually a telehealth appointment after all, then acted like they were doing me a favor for having the doctor call me when he had a moment. The doctor never called, I kept calling back and the line went straight to voicemail. No offer to reschedule, no apology, nothing.I ve never seen so much unprofessional behavior at a healthcare office, most of the people working there seem to be more concerned about having a good time than actually taking care of their patients. Any time I go in they are goofing around or not paying attention, which I wouldn t mind if they weren t making mistakes every single time I go in. Another time I went in for an appointment, I was provided a cotton swab with absolutely no direction and then put in the bathroom..it was for a throat swab, as I found out. When I went and asked why they didn t perform the oral swab like they usually do, they acted like I was being demanding of them because he doesn t want to do it himself, as if this whole time it was normal for people to do their own throat swabs every time I went before that they had done it for me.The unfortunate thing is maybe a good 25 percent of the time, I will get someone on the phone or in the office that s actually helpful and caring, I hope this place actually values these people because all the others are dragging this place down. Once I get my appointment done (if they ever decide to call me back) I am never returning to this clinic. I advise not going here if you have any other alternatives.

Their intentions are good, but they have a focus in the wrong areas, it appears. Seems as if they are more focused with the building looking good then training staff to critically solve issues and equippimg them with tools to troubleshoot simple issues. Libby wait tims are long, front desk staff dont appear to even know th type of paperwork one needs for simple requests, it is almpst impossible to get an answer on the phone or even a callback.

I love the nurses and the care I receive from everyone but Dr. Hall. Stay away from Dr. Hall. He is a snake. He does not care about his patients and will blame you for your mental struggles.
