About Pine Manor Chemical Dependency Services

Pine Manor Chemical Dependency Center is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center for adults, located in Nevis, Minnesota. They treat substance abuse and mental health concerns that perpetuate the addiction cycle so recovery becomes possible. They offer medication assisted treatment, residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and 12 Step meetings. Specialized services are available for clients with co-occurring conditions.

Their MAT program is completed in an inpatient setting, under the guidance of medical personnel. Providers will monitor your vital signs and withdrawal symptoms to ensure the process is as comfortable as possible. As needed, they can administer FDA-approved addiction medications to reduce withdrawal pain, minimize cravings, and lower the risk of relapse. The length of detox and the method used can vary based on what is best for you. By combining medication with mental health treatment, a greater chance of success is achieved for long term abstinence.

Their residential treatment is for clients who need more extensive psychological care before the next phase of their addiction recovery can begin. Clinical addiction treatment approaches, such as cognitive and rational emotive behavioral therapy, and trauma related counseling, are utilized. Clients can also participate in anger management education, life skills training, and relapse prevention services. This is a highly structured and organized treatment process that requires a commitment to the early stages of treatment.

Their outpatient program provides a more flexible approach to addiction treatment. This service provides continued support for addiction recovery through individual therapy, group therapy, and educational classes on addiction and recovery. Medications may be managed, and for those in need, trauma support may also be offered. You’lll also have access to 12 Step programming. The goal is to continue to move toward a life of recovery and a suitable aftercare treatment plan that allows for reintegration back into society.

The 12 Step program is a common recovery model based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a plan for recovery based on a Higher Power. Middle steps include self examination and making amends to those who’ve been hurt by the addiction. The later steps include continuing to take personal inventory while living a life of recovery and supporting others in doing the same.
Additional 12 Step groups include Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

Pine Manor Chemical Dependency Center may accept most forms of commercial insurance. Ask your provider to confirm your coverage because out of network benefits may vary.

My husband called their crisis line in the middle of the night only to be told they do not take insurance and told it was $14,000. How do you want to pay? He was rude! I wouldn't spend a dime for this kind of treatment for someone calling on the crisis line!

I was trying to get into inpatient treatment myself. As a addict, seeking help on my own accord was a big step for me. I reached out to pine manor to go to there program. And the female Director was very rude to me on the phone. She was very disrespectful and treated me very rude and wasn t at a professional as a person in this field to help people seeking recovery. She gave myself not even 24hrz to get to the facility or my bed would be taken. She gave me tha afternoon of that day to get all my stuff packed and be in order. I told her I could be there in the morning since I loved 4hrs away. She refused to give me even a 24hr period to get there since she said she had other clients she could intake the following day instead of myself. This place isn t looking to help ur loved one s if they struggle with addiction. They simply there for the money and to scam ppl s insurance companies. Would not recommend!!!

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
12-step icon12-Step
12 step programs support long-term recovery through personal growth. Participants are expected to regularly attend 12 step meetings, which are free, anonymous, and accessible 365 days per year in most communities. They are also mentored by self-selected sponsors who help guide them through the steps of recovery, which are rooted in spiritual principles and designed to foster self-awareness, forgiveness, accountability, and acceptance. Religious affiliation is not required and specialized formats, including age and gender specific meetings, are available.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug addiction is defined as an inability to stop using drugs even though it causes negative consequences in your life. Drug rehab in Minnesota provides treatment for drug addiction in a variety of settings including inpatient treatment and outpatient treatment.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Agree with the previous comments, Rachel the director, is a very bitter unprofessional woman. I had a great experience at the detox, I'd rate that 10/10. But getting down to the treatment part, it was not a good experience. I am traumatized by my time there honestly. Thinking that I can trust these people and that they'd act like professionals. But for them it was easier to call the cops on me for warrants instead of bring me to get medical attention that I was in severe pain and crying for three days. When I've heard stories from people about experiences similar to mine (not necessarily here, just in general) I didn't think things like this happened I thought they were exaggerating or something. Other than that, detox was great, food was great, techs were mostly good, counslers were mostly good, the daytime nurse in the treatment side was insensitive and rude, director seemed to always be angry didn't want anyone to be making noise, talking, singing, having a good time, nobody I spoke to had positive experiences with her. Lots of unstructured down time. Was there in the winter had to wear multiple pairs of sweatpants, sweatshirt, hat, gloves to sleep still freezing waking multiple times a night due to cold. No A/C. Lots of inconsistencies. Difficulties with it being co-Ed females dramatically outnumbered by males which is fine other than they can't be in common rooms or smoke deck if there are males there.Think this place should absolutely be investigated. If it was under the correct supervision and a few changes, new hires (or promotions) it could be something great. We seriously need this in our community. In rural MN. I'd love to see this place do the good it could be capable of.

Awesome is the word. If you are looking for Sobriety you will find it here. Counselors are very Professional and very intelligent I learned to surrender all here. All my feelings of hopelessness and fear were dealt with. I could go on and on about Pine Manors greatness. I will end it like this. I put in the work to change and they saved my life. I was taught to love myself again. I'm very proud to have been part of this place. Sincerely Mr.C Van Wert....

I'm editing this review now because, I was there again in detox, and, I had Deb as a nurse again. And, I will say that she has changed for the better. So, thank you, Deb. I had a better experience with her this time. Thank you Pine Manor Detox for helping me. Please continue to improve. And, thank you to all of the staff that helped me through my detox, as this was a hard one for me. The cooks, the techs, especially Terri the nurses including you Deb, Rachel in the office for always being so friendly and cleaning the detox center so efficiently and effectively. I also want to Thank Jenni the nurse. She is the most friendly, caring, thoughtful, experienced, cleanliness nurse they have. She is the best. She has been with me through many detox's. She is top-notch. Thank you again, Pine Manor Detox.

Needs some serious investigation. Woman staff watching men pee at intake. No structure outside of groups. Staff not running groups and leaving clients with my minimal sobriety to run groups. Staff not knowing where clients are. Minimal mental health help. Rules are confusing and not up held properly. Counselors are far from qualified to be promoting long term sobriety. Program is a joke and needs some serious new management and a state mandated investigation. Sending my significant other there was a waste of time and money and money is all clients are to them. Such a disgrace.
