Horrible customer management! I had scheduled an appointment over the phone in November, and when I showed up was told the counselor I was supposed to see did not show up that day and I would have to reschedule. Now, on the morning of my rescheduled appointment (1 hr. 20 mins. before) I receive a call saying my appointment needs to be rescheduled AGAIN and was not properly entered into their calendar. It s likely I only received this voicemail because I called the night before to confirm my appointment. When I called back, they were able to get me in for a Telehealth visit as soon as the next day with their Bloomsburg office. I can only hope that location has better calendar management skills. I could have waited for an in-person appointment, but I do not trust the Williamsport office at this time to honor and respect my time. I am overall upset with my experience with Genesis House, and this less-than-ideal solution of doing an initial assessment over the phone.

My overall experience with Gaundenzia Fountian Springs was good, the Program help me obtain and maintain sobriety while learning about addiction and taking parenting workshops. This women's or Mommy&me program also helped me regain full custody of my 2 children because I worked the Program by putting my all into it, they put their all into helping me fight for my children back. I loved most of the counselors most of the time LOL. But it was a life changing experience that help me take control back of my life to create a better future for myself and my kids. There is also a women's and mommy&me soberliving housing program connected in the back called Gaundenzia New Destiny which bridges the gap after one completes the rehab. I went home today after my stay at Huntington Creek Recovery Center and my goodness Wow, just Wow. It didn't feel like a prison like the other 2 I've been to. The level of trust and respect there made me feel like a human, not just another insurance payment. From the day I entered, the spiritual presence was in the room, and I was struggling with that. Nearly all the staff had an experience to relate to, I was heard and they understood me. What an incredible way to help people like me find our way to recovery. I even learned to play some piano and guitar. Life is doable again, but it's so much more now. Thank you to everyone at HCRC may God continue to Bless you all.

Fantastic experience with surgery and they're absolutely wonderful about managing your anxiety. 5 stars for that. But God forbid you need any pain medication FRESH OUT OF ABDOMINAL SURGERY, they'll act like you're drug seeking when you're still out of your mind with anesthesia and pain and gaslight you as if you aren't feeling what you're feeling. Just contributing to the worst problems with the American medical system. Withholding opioids during the situations they literally exist for is INHUMANE. ***update January 2024.I am really happy with my therapist, Alan. He has helped me work through so many issues and helped me discover ways to relax and deal with my stressors better. The new psychiatrist (Dr. B), although still via telehealth, has helped me find the right medication that has me back to where I am happy, motivated and able to deal with day-to-day issues with way less anxiety. After relocating to PA in 2021 I began seeing a therapist here. It was a bit awkward, at first. After a while things became more comfortable. I felt listened to and have had a few break throughs. The Psychiatrist, on the other hand, was rushed, impatient and via Zoom (at the location). She misdiagnosed me and changed my long-time medication to one that had me on the verge of a breakdown!Saw another Psychiatrist a few months later (also via Zoom) and put back on original meds where I m back to feeling like myself.
