Me and my daughter both come here for therapy and medication. We love our therapists and I have never encountered a rude employee. After reading the bad reviews, it is clear that these people are the problem not the center. To get so worked up about minor things or things that can be fixed easily, you need to do self reflection and accept that it's your attitude that needs to change. Be grateful that you have access to these services and the profound work these therapists are doing. If one of them didn't call you back or you didn't connect with their style, don't call them out and trash them. They are trying to help us with things our parents should have helped us with. They have a big job to do and they are not robots. Sometimes they don't text or call or whatever. If this happens, talk to them about it instead of giving the whole center a one star scathing review. There are people who could benefit from seeing these therapists but see your reviews (which is sometimes borderline child throwing a tantrum rant) and decide to not come here but to another center that really doesn't care. Shame on you!

It wasn't all about just reading from a book. They approach addiction in so many different ways and are open minded to your needs and show compassion. If you've ever been to treatment then you know that is hard to come by. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in need of help.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PLACE! I started @ miners, then moved to Erie and transferred to a clinic there which they were amazing too but now back to this area and I just started at WBCTC and it s awesome. There was no hassle no constant mix ups like @ miners, there wasn t 200 people at the door 1 hour before opening, fighting eachother, arguing and screaming, smelling like weed, reminiscing about the good old days of drug use. The Staff at WBCTC were so nice and willing to help. They really care! The nurse at the window was Pleasant, met my counselor and she is amazing. The doc is the same doc that was at miner s and she s always cool. She left miner s, ( wonder why? ). But all in all it s a great place to start Down your road to sobriety or to continue it.Absolutely by far the best place in the area. Keep up the great work.Oh another perk Free coffee!

It is not a detox, there would not be any comfort meds there - a Suboxone program is totally different than a Methadone program and they would not be combined. The program is laid out completely from day one, you have to want the treatment, research the program, and not blame others for your usage and not wanting to do the program the way it is designed. It has literally given people their lives back and not enabled people to keep using like some programs do. All staff cares and goes out of their way to help patients. They even have a referral service if needed to go inpatient. There is so much help there from counselors, to certified recovery specialists, to case managers, to doctor and nurse practitioner, to nurses, to administration. You can seek help from so many different people. It has helped people who nothing else was able to work for them. Give them a shot, you will get your sober life back and be glad you did.

I came to TPALS 5 years ago as a broken human being with nothing left inside and nothing left to give. I was very defiant in the beginning of the treatment process because of my experiences in the past and was never comfortable enough to open up to anybody ever. I graduated within that 5 years but I just did the program to get everyone off my back I didn t take in any of the suggestions given or was not willing to take a deeper look into my life so I got my certificate and left. Only to come back 2 years later still broken but this time no substance brought me back. Within coming back I ve had a few lapses but I was SO COMFORTABLE to come back into this place and admit to that and I ve built such solid worthy relationships here. This place gave me my life back. Gave my children their mother back and my family has their daughter back. If it was not for this place I would be dead. I love tpals because they meet you where you are at and work with you to understand the true ins and outs of this disease. I never thought I would be free from the chains of hell with drugs and alcohol and this place helped me free myself. I graduated again but I still come here everyday this place is my home and my safe place. Even if there isn t any staff I sit in the parking lot if I need to regroup mentally. Thank you to each and every one of the staff and counselors ! Yall are the real super heroes because super heroes don t always need to wear capes.
