PRC honestly saved my life. I came here with fear, hopelessness, and no spirituality. Trust this program and trust all of the staff here. When I truly began putting in the work, feelings of hopelessness went away, slowly over time. The therapist I was assigned to here, is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. The clinical director here, is overall amazing. Shawn the program housing manager, I cannot thank him enough. Shawn and Brandt continued to let me back here after many slip ups. They let me back because they saw something in me that I did not see in myself. I believed I could never recover, but they saw otherwise. Everyone here loves you until we love ourselves. This place was truly a stepping stone in my life.

NorthStar treatment center was definitely the best outpatient program that i ve been through. Compared to the other outpatient places i ve been to, a couple things that really stood out to be during my journey was their attention to the patient and their care and the knowledge, willingness, and compassion that they showed during each individual and group session. The therapists and doctor there are the best i ve had.

I was a patient at RFS over a year. Coreen was a great therapist for my conditions and struggles. I felt that I was in a place where I can be very comfortable in expressing myself without being judged. She helped me realize parts of myself that I realized were connected with my problems and past. For that, I am truly thankful for her help.I will suggest it would be more helpful in sessions to have more pragmatic questions and advice on how patients are going through areas of improvement and what would be the next steps moving forward. This would be a way for patients to stay focused on concrete goals to get better

I am pleased to give this 5-star review of MRC. I attended PHP and IOP, and had individual counseling twice a week. The counselors are excellent. They encourage a lot of participation in the groups. The topics are relevant to recovery- stress management, 12 steps, nutrition, body-mind connection, gratitude, and a lot more. Weekly yoga is offered and it doesn't matter what level you are. I was supported and cared for all the way through the process of outpatient recovery.

My child started in IOP-> needed residential in Flathead Montana ( read review- AMAZING) and did PHP and IOP here. We picked Embark after touring 3 places for IOP, so I never saw residential coming, but it did and the director AC did a great job of getting her in Residential and saved her a place in PHP. We really liked Dr Gill the psychiatrist!Overall my child did PHP well and their liaison worked well with the school. The parents nights etc were really helpful. Why the 4 stars? They changed my child s therapist when my child was transitioning back to HS from PHP to IOP, her therapist had a new role role, but even the director AC admitted C was the best fit for my child and the therapist was still seeing kids! So then we get this therapist A who was horrible at family therapy! The sessions would go over our time with me and my spouse , my child would be brought in for 5-10 minutes such a wast and nothing like C or her residential therapist in MT. Then at graduation on her last day this therapist takes off early, and the kids normally get a gift and we had to go back and get it the next week and it was so impersonal and they did not make my child feel like this graduation was special- it was so rushed, where in MT it was so lovely! Also though I thought my child might still need DBT ( I m no therapist) , NO ONE said look your kid is basically mastering this, why not use other therapy? so we felt so lost, felt no real help with a good therapist recommendation ( what therapist doesn t have a list?) for long term care, and we asked and asked re: care. I did the looking and it was well over 3 weeks to find a person. We found one we really like but no parent/ child needs that stress. Plus s even though we were in network at Embark, we had huge chunks of money pulled from our account so their accounts dept needs help! And despite signing pages of HIPPA AND ROI paperwork no one got anything and I still need to get that sorted. Finally kids are not supposed to have contact until all are dc d, that is not enforced! We did not know that- so all those little things lost a star. Kids were hanging out that should not have been, no one told us this! However: Due to amazing residential care identification my child needed by Embark in Berwyn, the quick transfer to MT and her excellent transition back to PHP and her work with therapist C in Berwyn we will keep it at 4. But the transition to A, and the poor FT sessions, sad graduation etc and accounting issues at the end/along with kids interactions before dc- I would push them on that.DBT is a great therapy base, but learning other therapies can augment your child s healing. We are still grateful for the care and the quick realization our child needed residential care. We hope to not need Embark, but we do recommend them and if your not seeing the results- make sure your child clicks with their therapist b/c that is key!Good luck!M&M

My Journey to this point has consisted of 3 rehabs(not court ordered), 2 DUIs, as well as LOTS of good times, lots of travel, the best Friends and Family! A valuable life worth living! A true Alcoholic that should never ever hold or pick up a drink! Unfortunately now I'm plagued with Kidney and Liver Disease. Initially the mere thought of having a 3 hour meeting with a Therapist and small group was the LAST thing in my Vision. However I need this service for 3 months to possibly get on the Kidney Transplant List. I have grown to truly enjoy Kyle's IOP group. I look forward to it and miss it on Wednesdays and Fridays. Kyle has opened my eyes and nudged me to attend meetings. My answer turned from NO thank you, to I will give AA meetings a go. Keep in mind that I have been in and out of the Program for 20+ years. Guess what? I am enjoying AA meetings now! I dreaded them before. I am grateful to Kyle and his group for pushing me to my next step in Recovery. Such a blessing!! I would highly recommend Key Recovery and Kyle!-Juanita S.

I used to volunteer services at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the cost for the entire year was 800.00. I would assume it has increased with inflation but the information stating a cost of $12,000 monthly is inaccurate. If you need help you should consider reaching out to Teen Challenge. Lives are transformed at and through Teen Challenge, do not let the inaccurate information about the cost deter you from getting help. Also, I believe they have ways of acquiring financial assistance if needed. If you have a problem and your tired of it and / or you have been to multiple rehabs, this one is different. Don’t go back to what you know doesn’t work. Heart transformation vs’ behavior modification. Anybody can change their behavior for external reasons, like they got fired from their job, fighting with spouse, ect. and they really believe that they’ve stopped., but two months after getting a new job and the coast is clear guess what creeps back out? When there’s a transformed heart, the desires are abolished, not tucked away for later. Hearts are transformed at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the program was12 months. You might think that’s a long time. If you do nothing 5 years will fly by and you will be where you are now, or worse off, or even dead. Make a move now and imagine the endless possibilities that can happen in five years. New friends, new career, new location, clear, productive mind. Don’t wait. Do it today. “Once a man is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old is gone, and the new has begun.” 2 cor 5:17
