I am pleased to give this 5-star review of MRC. I attended PHP and IOP, and had individual counseling twice a week. The counselors are excellent. They encourage a lot of participation in the groups. The topics are relevant to recovery- stress management, 12 steps, nutrition, body-mind connection, gratitude, and a lot more. Weekly yoga is offered and it doesn't matter what level you are. I was supported and cared for all the way through the process of outpatient recovery.

Joshua colegrove1/4/2025May 31st 2024 I began my journey into recovery from alcoholism and substance abuse. This was a life long battle for me since my early 20's. I am now 40. I did 35 days In residential at avenues in lake Ariel which is stabilization period Before going to a 6 month program at avenues bucks county php and IOP to see and be cared for by the most caring and loving, knowledgeable, dependable and down right compassionate go to the ends and back for clients type staff and counselors. While at avenues of bucks county I had the opportunity to really dig deep and find who I really am in life as I have been lost in addiction for 20 years with the help of my counselor cristi brown. Cristi is one of the most intelligent, caring and passionate person when it comes to her clients and addiction/recovery and will dig deep and go to the moon and back to support, and make sure no pages are unturned. Highly recommend all of the counselors there warren, who is very passionate also about recovering speaks from the heart and lives his clients.also to mention Mike as he was very helpful and caring and would talk to you and care for you even if he wasnt your counselor. Joyce,Alex and the two new counselors are very great also I personally didn't get to work with them but from all I've seen and in there group sessions they are truly sincerely passionate and go over and beyond for there clients as well. Big shout out to the boss man himself Joe Kane!!! Then there is Marisa wall the caseworker there who helped me with all my financial and insurance for disability and everything in a timely manner, very professional to say the least. Shout out to Alyssa Brennan for all her hard work and dedication as well. For being the alumni coordinator and making sure that when your program is up and you. Graduate there is still room for alumni to stay connected to clients and staff and hold alumni meetings. It's like your truly still a part of the most wonderful program and facility ever. Shout out to Lori the intake coordinator along with Tim they both make each person feel welcome and made me very comfortable and at ease in such a scary and anxious and unknown state of mind upon arriving. Also would like to say Shawn the pnr there and arty were the best medical providers that I've ever seen at a rehabilitation center. I'd also like to say that the behavioral health technicians are truly just as amazing, Loving and caring and protective of the clients from getting them to meeting everyday and being another support network they truly go beyond what there job entitles. Thank you Pat the house manager. And Mike Paul Javon Austin Colton and chick for everything you have ever done for me. i am forever grateful. Upon leaving and completing the program cristi insured that I had a steady job in place as well as a full and completely honest plan for after care. I highly recommend avenues recovery center for any person in any situation of addiction as they are far more then just a rehabilitation center. It's a place to call home while your there because it has that nice comfortable and at home feeling with a sense of warmth and true community and love for all.!! Thanks you again all of you at avenues of bucks I will forever be grateful for everything and helping me live a clean and sober life and most importantly you helped me "FIND MY WAY HOME"

I used to volunteer services at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the cost for the entire year was 800.00. I would assume it has increased with inflation but the information stating a cost of $12,000 monthly is inaccurate. If you need help you should consider reaching out to Teen Challenge. Lives are transformed at and through Teen Challenge, do not let the inaccurate information about the cost deter you from getting help. Also, I believe they have ways of acquiring financial assistance if needed. If you have a problem and your tired of it and / or you have been to multiple rehabs, this one is different. Don’t go back to what you know doesn’t work. Heart transformation vs’ behavior modification. Anybody can change their behavior for external reasons, like they got fired from their job, fighting with spouse, ect. and they really believe that they’ve stopped., but two months after getting a new job and the coast is clear guess what creeps back out? When there’s a transformed heart, the desires are abolished, not tucked away for later. Hearts are transformed at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the program was12 months. You might think that’s a long time. If you do nothing 5 years will fly by and you will be where you are now, or worse off, or even dead. Make a move now and imagine the endless possibilities that can happen in five years. New friends, new career, new location, clear, productive mind. Don’t wait. Do it today. “Once a man is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old is gone, and the new has begun.” 2 cor 5:17
