Drug Rehab Centers in Media, Pennsylvania

I want to preface this review by stating my stay at Mirmont was my only experience with rehab facilities. Throughout my stay there were residents whom spoke on their personal experiences with previous stays at other facilities, and all concluded Mirmont possessed top staff, food, structure and sanitation. My own experience with Mirmont was well deserved and became the stepping stone in my transition to an alcohol free and nicotine free life. Most of the staff offered much comfort, support and guidance throughout the ups and downs of my stay. I was terrified of the unknown, but knew I needed to remain. From the counselors, to the nurses, to the cooks, to the clinical aids, everyone always lent an ear, a shoulder, a hug, and a friend. The food wasn t always my favorite, but 99% of the food is made in house and they had good coffee. The programs were enjoyable and weekends a bit more relaxed! I do wish they would change up the schedule a bit as after 2 weeks, the redundancy was a tad intolerable and more outdoor time would have been wonderful! I am grateful my only experience in a rehab center was here. Just know, if you send a loved one here, they are in good hands.

I had a very positive experience! Everyone, but especially Sarah, were so helpful as I made my journey from rehab to the real world . The sessions were very helpful, informative, and interesting. Everyone was treated with the utmost respect too!

It s a great place for recovery the staff is very positive.

I been to a couple other treatment centers and I will say that this one is the best one. We get to do yoga twice a week, we get a very good catering lunch. We also get haircuts every other week. The facilitators that teach the classes will get you to think and change the way you see yourself. I ve learned how addiction works and how to manage it. This place is amazing because they re the reason why I started to love myself again and I was also very grateful to meet the best therapist. One of the best groups I ever been in, And one of the best places to get sober. I was able to go to rehab for the first time again. I will pick this place everytime.

Okay so I've been to a hand full of different PHPs and treatment places. Unfortunately I have lot of experiences with these kind of places. The issue is a lot of these places don't have anywhere near the the same accommodation that Victory Bay offers. This place is a great balance of giving support, knowledge and the opportunity to become independent under the healing process of addiction. They allow you to have family sessions, one on ones, EMDR and TMS treatment/therapist opportunities. On day one they assign you a case worker, this person can help you find a job, schedule appointments for doctors, help you apply to college, find you a nutrients and more.This program has a lot more freedoms than other places I've been in. That freedom really allows me to grow as a person without being held on a leach. The structure of the program is very appropriate and is willing to work with you if you have other responsibilities like court, employment or even being sick.The housing of Victory Bay is fair, I personally feel like all sober houses will have there ups and downs, however this place has been a better experience. There are techs who also watch over the house and give meds in the morning and nights. They are all very understanding and are willing to listen to you and help in anyway they can. The tech at the house also give you the opportunity to attend meetings every night. If you have a home group near by the houses they can drive you there or send you a lift to attend the meeting you want.All and all, this place is fantastic to begin or continue the journey of recovery. I cant recommend this treatment place enough! I am currently still in treatment here but I've been here for close to 9 months.

This place was great, helped me learn how to live life again, Sober. Eliana and Erica were great help to my early sobriety. Staff is friendly and effective. Would recommend to anyone struggling with addiction in the South Jersey area. Thank you All In.

Angela Baxter is the single greatest asset this facility has on hand.She is the most personable, down to Earth, and overall amazing therapist I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and I've been in and out of therapy like people are in and out of their local Wawa (s).She has a unique ability to put her clients at ease with humor. She utilizes laughter and good vibes to ensure that everyone she works with feels safe and at home.Her talents know no bounds. Have you ever seen her type?
