I came through here 2 times and am almost 3 yrs clean. I've had my ups and downs, multiple rehabs, multiple rehab relationships, etc. This was a male only rehab and that's what I needed. I could complain about some things but the goal was to stay clean and I didn't wanna die from an overdose. My counselor was Casey and she was what I needed in a counselor and she lived everything she says. Amazing counselor. Also night staff Brad and Gino. Brad always talked to me and believed in me and he's everything I wanna be In a man and in my recovery. He is the definition of what a man is. Gino is just a thorough dude. Also the nurse Pam and I had an amazing relationship, we spent hours talking and she helped me so much. I want to thank Conewago Place for bringing my soul back.

I went down for Gulf war/burn pit evalution registry. Was very informative and enlightening. Also did sleep study evaluation on same day. While I was there I got a chest xray, audiology appointment completed and Flu/Covid vaccinations. Each area was a joy to visit and was greeted by staff in hallway and elevator. I will say, in the beginning, approximately 5 or so years ago, I was not happy with the service. But, I did like my psychologist at the time and not wanting to find something new, I reluctantly decided to stay. I m glad I did. I now have gotten to know my therapist better and have found a healthy, better trust in this organization. Things seem better in the last year or so, I m able to get my needed meds on time and am happy with the service I receive. I don t know if management changed or I did. It s scary to trust someone with one s mental health. It takes time and a willingness of both parties to empathize, the giver and the receiver both. My advice, if you are unhappy, voice your grievance and give them time to correct your concerns.
