I have been going to the Warren office on Market Street for 4+ plus years now. I have had a wonderful experience. I did go through a couple counselors before I found a fit for me. I now see Cherri and she is absolutely amazing if it wasn't for her I don't know where I would be today. She has been my Saving Grace.I also see a psychiatrist her name is Nicole. She is also great she is patient. She is compassionate, it took several different medications to finally find what has worked for me. Please don't give up, ask for a different counselor ask for a different doctor it is your right. Not everybody is right for you you have to find your person. Even if you cannot find it at Valley counseling please continue to seek the help you need. My life has changed for the better and I'm actually starting to feel like myself again. It's a process, and even though I did the work I couldn't have done it without Cherri and Nicole...thank you both for doing what you do.

Hello my name is Mark and I'm an alcoholic I have been for 40 years now not that I am proud of that. I had another DUI conviction and decided I needed help for my problem. I went to ccdaec before I had to by court it was the best thing I could have done for myself but ultimately went to jail and I saw a councilor while I was incarcerated which helped. I made the first four steps but then was released and I started my court ordered counciling which included groups and individual counciling. If you knew me you would know I'm not good with change or new people. I've never felt more comfortable with the counselor s I was assigned to. They brought out all of the things I have never talked about before. They made me so comfortable and supported me like I have never known before. From the secretary to the first appointment with my counselor, these people are very caring and compassionate mental health workers. My counselor even went over a bit on my time since she had the time and it was a lot the first session to get through. Dr mike maggio does a good job with both my son's and their medications. I highly recomend him. He takes his time and asks lots of questions and trys to help my son with out putting him on a lot of meds. My son has asd with sensory disturbance and hightend hearing so its very hard for him to navagate his daily life. There was a issue with one of the meds causing aggressions and from the start dr mike knew what to change and it worked wonders. He checked on my son 3xs a week when we first changed his meds and one time he was busy on a Fri and didnt get a chance to call and took time out of his weekend to check up on us. He stays in contact with the counsler and they work very well together for both my son's.
