I loved the place, it was peaceful I came from pyramid in Altoona and it was crowded, if you like a small group this is a great place to go.all the staff were great, thank you all for the kindness.

After dealing with a few different MAT doctors in the area, I was beyond blessed to find State College Medical. Everyone I have dealt with in this office goes above and beyond to make sure the clients are taken care of, and well. They are kind, compassionate, and just good at their jobs. Highly recommend!

I didn t know for sure if counseling would help me. I figured my issues were so small it wouldn t make a difference . But I ve seen myself become a better, more stable, more self compassionate , more confident person thanks to my time at Rise counseling. I ve been blessed. Rise has been a sounding board , a wise voice and most importantly, a place I can trust to help.

PRC honestly saved my life. I came here with fear, hopelessness, and no spirituality. Trust this program and trust all of the staff here. When I truly began putting in the work, feelings of hopelessness went away, slowly over time. The therapist I was assigned to here, is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. The clinical director here, is overall amazing. Shawn the program housing manager, I cannot thank him enough. Shawn and Brandt continued to let me back here after many slip ups. They let me back because they saw something in me that I did not see in myself. I believed I could never recover, but they saw otherwise. Everyone here loves you until we love ourselves. This place was truly a stepping stone in my life.

NorthStar treatment center was definitely the best outpatient program that i ve been through. Compared to the other outpatient places i ve been to, a couple things that really stood out to be during my journey was their attention to the patient and their care and the knowledge, willingness, and compassion that they showed during each individual and group session. The therapists and doctor there are the best i ve had.

Caring and compassionate therapists, I am very grateful to both Jacquelyn and Alexa in particular!
