I am grateful that I can meet privately just with my assigned counselor and not have to sit in groups that don't meet my needs. Grateful, I am able to get help on an individual basis & my counselor seems approachable and doesn't act better than us. I am happy that I quit the Twin Lakes Program & asked my PO if I could begin Recovery Concepts so I can work, fulfill my family obligations, my legal, enjoy my children's school programs. Ok so at first I gotta admit it was probably the hardest thing I ve done but by the grace of god and all the amazing people at tru healing who helped me through it everyday I did it. Not only did I complete the 30 day program I met some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Starting with the counselors and case managers, my counselor Ms Mo she is tough but the most helpful and supportive person and I needed your toughness and more importantly she knew I needed that as well and for that I thank her and Mrs bam omg she is the sweetest person ever and helped me everytime and always was there when I needed to talk which was a lot and for that thank you so much. Now another person who was so kind and amazing to me and to everyone was Nate he is an amazing person and such an inspiration thank you so much Nate. When I read the negative reviews and comments, I d be willing to bet the issues are with the patient and the their families the lack of control. This is a family disease. Personally, when I had the control, I ended up in rehab and it was time to try something different. Coming to DreamLife was an opportunity to let those who have walked the recovery path; those who have been working in treatment for decades take that control from me. It s was not easy but it was necessary- clearly I was unable to manage my life at that point. I was able to work on some personal and family issues but more importantly, became open to honesty and understanding what it take to be in recovery. Rehab is not recovery but this place will put you in the right position to be successful in recovery- if you re willing to listen and you want it.

I went here when I was under the worst psychosis s of my entire 4 year binge with meth. I spent about a week in detox purely because my mind was not stable. I had ran thinking people were trying to kill me. I knocked on businesses doors asking for help. The police came and took me to the hospital. This place still picked me up and brought me back. Nobody could really talk me down the entire time. It wasn t until a man showed me his track marks and told me he wasn t here for me. That snapped me out of it after almost a week or so. I ll never ever forget that experience. I AMA d soon as my mind came back. These days I am over 3 years clean and a junior in a bachelor of social worker program. God bless!

Look this is my last choice for a hospital I struggly prefer Winchester medical center or Morgantown hospitals.But I came in to the ER on November 28th around 5:00-6:00 pm I think do to sever right side pain nausea and no appetite the front desk ladies were kind and attentive very surprising for a holiday. The ER doctor David and his nurse that over saw my care and needs were both awesome I give them both A+ the lady that did my CT scan was sweet and in good spirits for working alone on Thanksgiving!Now I was admitted for appendicitis and taken up to my room rather quickly that was on the 5th floor it was obvious the poor nurses were understaffed even though they treated me and my 74yr old roommate very well I felt bad for them and angry at the hospital administration! You're telling me you'll pay traveling nurses almost 40 dollars an hour but not our local nurses? Quality care means kind compassionate well trained nurses techs and qualified doctors you can't put that on your website and signs in your hospital but still keep it so understaffed with a clear conscience.My room wasn't cleaned once from what I remembe definitely needed it my nurses were great but once again understaffed with bed alarms going off and nurse call buttons going unanswered for quiet a bit in the early morning I say around 3:30 am?Please build a new hospital with a design from Winchester medical book each of their rooms are private clean with a couch for visitors beautiful cafeteria with lots of natural lighting with a outside court yard plenty of parking and they never seem to have a staffing problem once again pay your nurses well.I have had some health issues since my surgery that have been getting addressed by Winchester medical and valley health doctors.

Honestly the reviews scared me a little bit before coming as I am a new patient but I was very pleased with my visit today. Dr. Wheat made me feel very heard and listened attentively and gave me a plan moving forward and ordered labs to figure out what s going on. The nurse Brittany was super sweet as well, gave me a flu shot and a strawberry shortcake bandaid and then the ladies down at the lab were very sweet with me as well and helped me out.
