This rehab is truly like no other. I came in here completely broken. I overdosed before coming into Brookdale and got caught up within the legal system. This place CARES. Probably the only place I would go to get help. I sadly made an error in judgement and lost my place in the best place where the help is really real! The entire staff is respectful. They keep you busy and engaged the entire time.I shall take this as a learning experience. They will always hold a special place in my heart. What a wonderful experience (yes, I'm talking about a hospital!). From the lovely lady at the front desk to the nurses in the Same Day Procedures (not sure if that's what it's called) unit at Hackettstown Memorial, my visit was stress-free. The nurses (Julia, Lilly and the surgical nurse) were incredible dedicated, caring, courteous and professional. The anesthesiologist (Dr Willis) was great. My doctor got in earlier than expected so everything was moved up and I was out of there quickly. They all did an outstanding job. The place was clean and well organized, too. No one likes to go to the hospital, but if you have to go, this is the kind of experience you want.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff is wonderful, Cara who is one of the IOP counselors is amazing. The intern who is currently working with the Thursday IOP class is wonderful as well. I have been to treatment facilities in the past where I didn't feel comfortable and felt like I got nothing out of the program. At Malvern, I feel welcomed and actually enjoy going to the groups.
