Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Couples therapy in Missouri deals with the problems each partner has within themselves and with each other. Sessions may be held jointly and others individually to address these issues and help each partner learn how to manage challenges in healthy ways.

Family therapy sessions help individual family members in Missouri learn to improve their communication skills and understand how the family dynamic is both affected by addiction and affects their loved one's addiction. Therapists work with individual members to identify and modify negative behaviors which helps create a more supportive home environment.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In Missouri, therapists and patients work closely in individual therapy to address the personal challenges and triggers that drive addictive behavior. Using a customized approach helps foster self awareness so you can make positive changes toward a healthier, substance free life.

The goal of cognitive behavioral therapy in Missouri is to help clients change their thinking and behavioral patterns. Strategies of treatment include role playing, facing fears, and calming techniques.

Motivational interviewing is a short term method often used during drug rehab in Missouri. It typically lasts one or two sessions, with the goal of facilitating conversation about change. The client should leave the sessions feeling more decisive and secure in their ability to make the changes they desire in their life.

Very poor scheduling of appointments!!! They give you an appointment time When you get there, they say the appointment is 15 minutes earlier than you were scheduled for. Then they won't see you and you miss your whole appointment even though you showed up!!!

The PCP Alexandra was great, but post appointment services are worst, rhey have a call center which has no clue of what the silution is. It has been 6 days and i do not have blood test results. Where on earth it takes a week to have normal blood work results. Quest did it for me in 8 hours last time.Update: Finally received my test results, hope they will take my feedback seriously and improve the service.

I always get 5 star service from Alexandra Lucas and her team at the New Town location, and that's not so easy to find these days. Even harder to find: Actual compassion, the kind that makes you feel truly cared for and not like you're just being herded through a process. I've never had a female doctor before and being a 60 years old man I was a little apprehensive at first I have to admit. But all of that apprehension went out the window as the team helped me relax and feel comfortable with their professionalism and, coming back full circle, their *compassion*. In my opinion it all starts there. Thank you New Town Compass Health team!

I was told they could fill my medicine. I got there. They told me they couldn t and did not have any suggestions other than going to the other crappy care center in Wentzville with more crazy people than any of the locations. Not to be offensive

I was turned away for care after making an appointment and receiving confirmation of that appointment. It was one of the lowest points ever. I had been feeling so ill and thought I'd get help that day. First of all making an appointment is next to impossible. The phone calls are patched through to a Compass in Wentzville. They then patch you through to the office that you're trying to reach and you never may reach a person but more than likely you are sent to the nurse's line to leave a message. After doing so I didn't receive a call from a nurse until two days later. I then made an appointment and it Was confirmed via email and text. But when I got to the office I was told that I didn't have an appointment and asked what it was that I needed because I had just seen a nurse Two weeks prior. Apparently I was sick enough to make another appointment but no one Wanted to hear or care why. I had prescriptions called in for medication I didn't know about since there was no communication or follow up after my first visit. One medication was for blood pressure but I wasnt told to take this in addition to what I was aleady taking or to stop taking a similar medication with a similar name but different strength. Smh.So dangerous. My appointment was to see nurse partitioner Alexandra Lucas. If you come to the Elm Sreet Compass location do not go to her. As a matter of fact stay away altogether if you can help it especially if you're looking for someone that cares. My health is very important to me as it is to my family and I don't take it lightly and I don't appreciate those who do.
