About Pam Voyages Behavioral Health

Pam Voyages Behavioral Health is located in San Antonio, Texas. They provide adults with mental health and substance abuse treatment. What I found unique is that they offer a We Care program. That program was designed to make sure that every patient received the best care possible.

When you are admitted into their program, you will be assigned a patient partner. They will keep you and your family informed throughout your treatment and want to make sure they are meeting your expectations.

I do like that they encourage your family’s participation throughout the four levels of care. Throughout your time inpatient care, you will attend daily group therapy, activity groups and psychiatric consultations. A great thing about the inpatient care program is that they have nursing care available round the clock.

Their partial hospitalization program is if you do not require 24 hour patient care but need support then traditional outpatient services. You would attend therapy 5 days per week. You will also have psychiatric consults, nursing care and education.

Their intensive outpatient program offers the same services but you would need to attend three times per week. Also, the psychiatric consults would be monthly. When you graduate to the routine outpatient program then you would attend therapy as needed. Another difference is that they offer medication monitoring and you would be provided with a support network.

They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
