I m sadly a frequent flyer for detox centers, I ve probably been to about 10, both in and outside of the Ada County area. This is the best detox center I ve ever been to. While I have had some less than ideal experiences with trying to get mental health services here, most of my interactions with CHD have been with the lovely people who do their public health/immunization services. I've been working through a needle phobia and the nicest people I've ever gotten shots from are here! Very kind, patient, and non-judgemental. I would recommend that people of any age who are bad with needles go here for their vaccinations.

Rising Sun has come along way since my first experience in 2017. The biggest difference is the new house manager Sylvia has made it absolutely amazing because she is there for us, always going above and beyond, she's available for advice and support and guidance. The management is great to work with and very involved in making sure the houses are taken care of and if you have any questions that they can help with they will get you the right answers. I find living here now much better and a place that is comfortable and a place to call home.
