I was here from 11 years old to 13, I had been to the oregon state mental hospital, trillium, farm home and youth villages, and out of all of them, this place is the best. I have mixed feelings about jasper. I left a better person I do believe, but I was not ever stayed in contact with like I was told, and that hurt. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I had got to know everybody I was there with, staff members, Ethan is one I really remember, and there was a short man with a ring he would play with and we would play chess. I have been doing really well if anyone remembers me. Really happy to see you guys are still on a mission. I was referred to therapeutic associates after dealing with a weakness related injury from running. My main symptom being lower back pain (SI joint) glute pain, and knee pain during running. I was paired with Laura Cooper and Nate Palmer (so lucky to have gotten to work with both!!) and they gave me a ton of tools to build strength back in my glutes and core with a home program as well as in office training + body work. I really appreciated their thoughtful approach to answering my questions, helping troubleshoot the causes of the injuries, and helping to sustainably build me back up. I went from running 0 miles up to being able to successfully run again and got to squeeze in a 10k before the season ended! Thank you all for being the best.
