So I went to the ER because of complications from a colonoscopy. I went through some tests and was about to be released. There was a younger gentleman that came in the room right next to me. I was about to get released when the younger gentleman next to me stopped breathing. The dr rushed out of my room and went into ER mode. Their team performed CPR on this veteran for 40 minutes while I m in the room right next door. The veteran ended up passing away and my heart was broken. The moral of this post is if I was ever in that situation and passed away I can tell every single veteran that this Dr and his team worked above and beyond to save his life and I know they would have done the same for me. I was very affected by their teamwork and professionalism. The dr came back in my room to release me and said to me I love all you veterans and got teary eyed with me. Whomever the Dr was on the evening of 12/05/24 you are my hero. This breaks my heart just writing this but had to share how proud I was will everyone of the staff.

This place saved my life. The counselors really care about the clients, and work very hard to help us. I had the experience where it felt like coming home to a caring family everytime I walked through the door. I presently attend aftercare maintenance and still experience that feeling of safety and trust. The program itself had a huge impact and it worked because I am over a year and a half sober, and aim to stay that way, one day at a time. Thank you, Brickhouse.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards Ascent as a whole but more specifically to my counselor Josh & case manager Allison. I came to Ascent after a prior negative experience at another treatment facility and was hesitant in giving treatment another shot. Since the very moment I first showed up to Ascent I felt welcomed with open arms from the entire team and felt a level of empathy, respect, and genuine concern for my well-being that truly changed my life. What stood out the most was the personalized approach. Josh & Allison took the time to really get to know me, tailoring my treatment plan to my specific needs and challenges. This wasn t a one-size-fits-all approach; it was a program that treated me as a whole person, addressing not just my addiction, but also the underlying emotional and psychological factors that contributed to it.The relationships I was able to form in our group sessions have been absolutely invaluable to my success and education in my recovery. More importantly the tact and professionalism that both Josh & Allison have demonstrated throughout my time at Ascent has left an impact on me that I will cherish & remember for the rest of my life. I have interacted with other counselors in the past and the creative approach Josh brings to our group & individual settings was exactly what I needed to really help me see what a strong sober support system & life of recovery can truly look like. There is no doubt that I would not be where I am today without the support and council both Allison & Josh have bestowed up on me.I am incredibly thankful for the whole team at Ascent Behavioral Health. Thanks to their expertise and unwavering support, I am now living a life of sobriety that I never thought was possible. I wholeheartedly recommend Ascent to anyone who is struggling with substance abuse and seeking a comprehensive, compassionate recovery program.Thank you for all that you continue to do.

I reported about how they never refilled my meds and added a bad review. In reality, I wrote that when I was anxious and needing my meds, in a very low state. Something they told me was, we are the place to go when you are in that state we are a safe place they really are. Walgreens keeps screwing them over by not sending in medications, if you use there pharmacy that s in acacia you will get your meds much faster.
