About Operation PAR Inc

Operation PAR in Spring Hill, Florida, is a rehab center that offers effective drug and alcohol abuse services to impacted individuals and families to promote recovery and mental, physical, and psychological well being. This addiction treatment center has been operational since 1970 and continues to help children, families, and adults overcome their struggles with substance abuse. To do this, Operation PAR offers an assortment of effective treatment modalities and FDA approved medication assisted treatment (MAT).

For over 50 years, Operation PAR has had a comprehensive approach to substance abuse treatment while offering affordable and high quality care. This is why this rehab center is one of the best in the state. As a client focused and science based addiction treatment center open to all patients, including men, women, the disabled, and the LGBTQ+ community, there are a few programs on offer. Some of these include:

The Women’s Services Program at Operation PAR is custom tailored to meet the needs of each individual. This program provides holistic services to treat addiction and has served women locally since 1985. Some of the specialized services offered by this program include parenting classes and pregnancy preparation classes, family therapy for women and children, and educational and vocational opportunities.

At Operation PAR, this outpatient program provides opportunities for those with co-occurring mental health illnesses and substance abuse disorders to address their addictions in an outpatient setting.

The OP also provides random drug screening and group and individual counseling to prevent relapses. However, this OP is only suitable for those who don’t require medical detoxification. A few of the services individuals can expect to include life management skills, psychiatric evaluations, family counseling, HIV and hepatitis risk education, psychosocial assessments, and psychosocial screenings.

Those addicted to opioids like heroin, pain pills, and oxycontin can seek addiction treatment at Operation PAR. This addiction treatment center provides medication assisted patient services through methadone detox, Buprenorphine maintenance, and methadone maintenance. Those who qualify for this program receive a physical examination with laboratory workups, regular counseling, in depth assessments, and individualized treatment planning.

The length of stay for the residential inpatient treatment program at Operation PAR varies. Individuals enrolling in this treatment option will get drug screen monitoring, recreational activities, art therapy, case management, vocational education, gender specific and individual counseling, behavioral modification, and anger management classes.

Update: Every single person here is amazing! The people at the front desk, always nice and treat you like you're a human being and not just some addict. My previous counselor is amazing! Angie! I can go to her anytime and her door is always open, if she's busy she will make time for me! She has helped me through some personal issues by just talking to me and helping me learn to cope with any negativity in my day-to-day life. My new counselor, Hope.. she is wonderful! I was comfortable around her from the very beginning and I feel like I can tell her anything without judgement. All of the counselors are amazing! If you are struggling with addiction and are thinking about coming here, it will be the best decision you ever made! Trust me on this! Don't listen to all the nonsense and negative comments that people have to say about the treatment, because it's damn sure better than what you're doing now! You won't regret it!I don't know what all this crap about them stealing money from patients and insurance, I've never had any issues since being here. And if you have a problem with dr. Benson, it's most likely because you didn't follow the rules and do what you're supposed to do! He has a very dry sense of humor but he's a good person. And a great doctor and I have no problem with him. He will tell you like it is and that's it. It's his medical license on the line, not yours! So forgive him for not coddling you and tending to your every waking need. As far as people posting his mug shot, how about let's post yours? People make mistakes!!! We ALL HAVE MADE MISTAKES! You learn from them and move forward. You don't know the circumstances behind that incident so unless you were there, you can't really speak on the matter honestly. OP PAR AND DR BENSON ALL THE WAY! Keep up the good work everyone!!!everyone here is very friendly and helpful.I have been on a maintenance dose for 4 years and I truly believe they are the reason I got my life back. I will miss Jaz. But everyone there is super nice. If you need help, don't put it off any longer..just go for it and u will not be disappointed.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare
12-step icon12-Step
12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
military-program thumbnail image
Military Program
Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Therapists who apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Florida believe patient thoughts and behaviors are closely linked. They use this treatment method to help clients change their thought patterns so they can also change behaviors and break free from substance abuse.

As a short term therapeutic method, motivational interviewing in Florida requires only a couple of sessions. During these sessions, you'll have the opportunity to talk about your circumstances and any discrepancies between your current situation and future goals. You'll then decide for yourself what changes you want to make.

My first appointment at PAR was on 4/24/2017 at 6:30am, and that was the day my life changed for the better. I wish I would have never listened to everyone around me all those years that talked negative about the place and just went, I could have saved myself and my family ... Read More

10/10 do not recommend, this doctor is a weirdo. They keep removing the reviews because they don t want people to know the truth. They steal money from people and insurance companies

First of all, I d give zero stars but Dave the counselor is the only reason it deserves one. The doctor here, Andre benson was arrested for. DUI on December 3 2021 and had the nerve to kick patients out for having alcohol in their system yet people with meth and fentanyl were just getting there dose increased to doses I ve never even heard over, 300+ mg. Anyway I m not hear to complain. Just let anyone know who s thinking of coming here, goto new seasons instead. You are just a number here, each counselor has over 40-50 patients. I used water in one of my drug screens because other suspicious things were happening and they told me I failed for alcohol when I literally filled the cup with water. When I told them this they refused to get the sample back and said it was destroyed even though at any other time you can request a retest and they re more then willing. Idk I called the state attorneys office and the department of health and they already are aware this place is a disaster it s just a matter of time hopefully before they fire the doctor sooner than later and figure out what is going on with their insurance and billing cause I know that s shady too. Shout out to all the nurses though and big Dave ! Y all are amazing and deserve so much better then to work for that loser.

I have been going to Operation Par for a while now that I'm moving I can do a review and not be afraid of any repercussions from doctor benson at the Spring Hill office he is the rudest guy I have ever met and doesn't treat his patients like people I have been called a liar multiple times by him and waited many hours on him he has you there hours before he gets there and almost got fired because his time is the only important time that matters i waited from 7 to 11 many times and I'm glad that he got a DUI so he knows what it's like to make a mistake I have been wanting to report this guy since I started going to Operation Par on Cass Circle but I chose not to because I need my medicine and can't deal with the drama from a drunk doctor that don't know how to talk to people or respect people

I've been an addict ever since I was shot back in early 2000 I've been in methadone treatment off and on for the past two decades and I can say I have been clean for several years now thanks to the methadone program and I have nothing but great things to say about the staff counselors and nursing

Terrible place to go for help, the lady Liz specifically does not care about patients needs at all. I came here to guest dose from another state I had to sign a release from the clinic where I was from, when I got there she gave me a release from their clinic instead of the one from my clinic so nothing got done and I was unable to dose that day which was yesterday. I went there again today she has the nerve to say something about my clinic being on her all morning because they actually care about me getting my dose. So by the time all the paperwork got done it was around 11:00 they close at 11:30 I asked her if I'll be able to dose once everything was finished she said no because she needs to talk to nursing even though all of my dosing information everything that they needed was already sent so I said okay how about I call them ahead of time this way the information that you need is there already that way I'm able to get my dose I already didn't do it yesterday I'm not feeling well she said no that's not the way it works here I said can you give me a reason why she said that's just not the way we do things, in other words she went out of her way to make sure that I was unable to get my dose
