About One Touch Recovery Center
One Touch Recovery Center is located in Pomona California and offers its services to adults and LGBTQ+ persons struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues. This facility provides partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient (IOP), and regular outpatient services to their clients.
Clients are treated in a hospital-like setting with acute addiction symptoms. Furthermore, participants attend six hours of daily treatment that consists of individual and group therapy sessions. This program does not require the client to live on-site.
Intensive outpatient follows partial hospitalization as clients receive both individual and group therapy but less frequently throughout the week.
Like the IOP program, regular outpatient acts as a final transitional step where clients continue treatment less frequently. This continues until the client can live properly without needing treatment.
One Touch Recovery accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. Some commonly used providers for addiction services include Aetna, Amerigroup, United Healthcare, Ambetter, and BlueCross/BlueShield. Furthermore, Cigna, Humana, Beacon, Anthem, ComPsych, and Magellan Health are several other providers that cover addiction services.

Levels of Care
Outpatient
We offer continued treatment for individuals who have completed IOP but still want to continue with therapy and group sessions at a lower level of care. We encourage individuals to slowly move away from treatment and back into normal life to avoid pitfalls that could lead to relapse.
Partial Hospitalization Program
We offer PHP day treatment for those individuals who have stabilized during detox and in-patient treatment but are now ready for a less restrictive environment to continue with treatment. We also provide Sober housing for Clients while in Treatment.
12-Step
We have incorporated the 12-step program of recovery into our curriculum. Clients are required to attend AA/NA meetings while completing treatment with us. The AA/NA programs are a great support system for those struggling with addiction and give people the opportunity to interact with others who understand, support, and encourage sobriety. 12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).
Intensive Outpatient
We offer IOP programming for individuals who have completed in-patient programming and are now ready for the next level of care while taking on more responsibilities at home, work, or school. We give individuals the opportunity to have a safe place to rely on when struggling with cravings and triggers while still engaging in life on life’s terms.
Sober Living Homes
We provide Sober housing for Clients while in the PHP and IOP Treatment Programs Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

Treatment
Alcoholism
We offer individuals counseling, group sessions, and education of addiction along with a family session to help those closest to the individual learn about their disease and how to not enable the person to continue drinking. The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.
Drug Addiction
Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.
Dual Diagnosis
Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
Mental Health
Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.
Opioid Addiction
Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.
Substance Abuse
We offer individual counseling, group sessions, voluntary bible study, and drug and alcohol testing. We utilize CBT, DBT, and psychoeducation to help educate people on the disease of addiction and how to live sober. We also offer Co-Occurring groups, 12-step book studies, anxiety, depression, and focus groups. Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.
Clinical Services
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.
Family Therapy
Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy or individual counseling, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life. Clients meet with a counselor for goal setting, relapse prevention, family session, and individual needs weekly.
