There are people here who care. Several have played a significant role in my personal recovery, this program is second to none. I've been all over the state for recovery, Ohio Treatment Center is by far the most complete program that I have been a part of, which has given me the motivation to pursue a career in recovery and hopefully work with these individuals who have proven to be the best of the best.

This place saved my father's life from alcohol addiction, and my parents marriage. I am forever grateful to the staff here. My father drank his entire life and needed to stop on a dime. I am glad to report months later that he hasn't had another sip and just graduated from part of his recovery. Thank you forever and I hope you all continue to do such incredible work!

It s been almost 3 years since I was at APR, but I will always look back at this time with gratitude and appreciation. I flew up to Ohio at 22 years old to go to APR and get clean because my way of living was killing me. It was the first time I had ever tried or considered rehab, and the experience I had here changed my life for the better. I will always boast well about how amazing the staff was, Joe and Manny are more than amazing. I m now 25 and will be celebrating 3 years clean & sober (god willing) in November of this year. If you are considering getting sober, I would 100000% recommend going to Arrow Passage Recovery. The focus on mental health as well as addiction was incredible and I will forever be grateful for the tools I learned & still continue to use. Thank you APR for everything!!! One day at a time!

I ve been to many treatment centers in the past and this is by far the best one I ve been too. They treat you with respect and the facility, staff, nurses and bht s are amazing. Along with chef Laura who makes amazing healthy and delicious meals. I m so thankful for my time there and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone struggling with addiction.

They helped me through the hardest obstacle in life. They show true support and are very compassionate and caring when it comes to recovery. I highly recommend FRC. For anyone in need for recovery!

Inpatient and outpatient have been very different experiences for me.Inpatient: Cons:It takes a while to get your belongings.If you have medical issues, it's a bit tough as you pretty much have to supply your own meds for non-psychiatric things, and then it takes a while to be approved by the pharmacy and have the orders placed.Some staff act like they're the wardens and patients are inmates, but not the majority.Understaffed.Nothing is quick here - especially med passes.**Update, Sunrise med passes and vitals take forever, but Meadows was heads and tails above for both.If you write a 3-day letter and are made involuntary, you get restricted to the unit, which feels punitive.Not great if you have complicated medical issues.Pros:Therapy-heavy. I've only ever been to Cleveland Clinic facilities, where therapy is more play-based (art and music only).Some of the staff are amazing.You get to go outside (smoke if you do, or just chill if you don't) several times a day.The food isn't terrible, and you can substitute, plus there's snacks.The beds are fairly comfortable.Showers in the rooms.You can wear pretty much your normal clothes, just no strings or belts.You can have your toiletries and makeup (with certain safety restrictions).Lots of books in the library.There's a workout area.Outpatient: The pros and cons here seem like they vary based on which therapist you get. I was pink-slipped while with my 1st outpatient therapist in PHP, so I can't give an honest assessment of her group.Michelle and Brian are stellar therapists. Michelle is also the patient advocate, and lemme tell you, she works her butt off!The groups are structured in a way that invites the patients to almost run the group, with the therapist as the facilitator. The therapists serve as educators and present the lessons like a small, interactive classroom. There's a lot of great info, you get handouts and a binder if you're with Brian and a spiral-bound book with Michelle.Both of these incredible therapists will talk with you individually and privately if you have a bit more need for support or are having any potential safety issues.Lunch is provided, but you can also get your own. Transportation is also provided if you live within 25 miles of the facility - but you can also drive yourself.I honestly cannot say enough for the PHP. I will 100% stand on saying these groups, and the therapists who facilitate them, are life-savers.
