Nervous at 1st; felt comfortable talking w/Shawn. Thought it made no sense having that much paperwork especially when it wasn't used. Why not mail it to the patient prior to their appt so they can truly read it or give it to patient after seeing Nurse P to take home & bring back when seeing therapist.??

The atmosphere is nice, seldom any kids and if there are any they usually aren't screaming and triggering people who have PTSD.

I'm so thankful for this place and the doctors and my counselor!! If it wasn't for them I dunno if I would be alive?!

Great clinic. Busy, yet you aren't treated like a number. After weeks of trying to get in somewhere, I got an appointment here. I live 40 minutes away, so when I found out it was a dosing clinic, I was upset, because at the time, I didn't have a vehicle and wasnt sure how I'd make it work. I was looking for a doctor to give me a script. However, the clinic setting was exactly what I needed. The accountability drove me to suceed. I didn't want to let my care team down. Without that daily dosing, weekly counseling, frequent uds testing, intro to mat groups, and guidelines for take homes, I don't know that I would have been successful. It's been a decade, and after all these years, this clinic is still my safe place. Nurses, physicians and counselors have come and gone, but the mission and care received never change. If you are respectful and honest, you will be heard. They understand relapse is a part of recovery and they won't turn their backs on you because of it. My counselors, nurses, NP and doctors are judge free, encouraging, empathetic, and they listen. They don't rush you to get to the next patient. Same goes for the rest of the staff, such as those in reception, intake, and financial. I've had false positives that were quickly confirmed negative. I've received psychiatric care. Staff members have advocated for me through tough times. I'm grateful to the clinic for where I am today. If you need support and accountability, this is a great place to check out. Follow their rules and you'll go far!

The Ravenna VA Outpatient Clinic is a GREAT place to be a member of. I have never had to wait for a visit for more than 30 minutes. The Doctors are the best at this clinic. Dr B and Dr F are the best! I had Dr. B as my family physician at University Hospital in Ravenna for 3 years before he joined the VA staff which is next door to the VA clinic. He is an extremely intelligent Doctor and goes out of his way to be professional and dig into what might be causing any discomfort for you.I had an emergency problem, called the clinic and was assigned to Dr. F. in 2 hours who I never had contact with before the call. It turns out that he was also a carbon copy of Dr. B. Great listener and got right to a diagnosis of my problem and set me up with a quick procedure at the Hospital.The staff is also the best. Everyone that I have had contact with is very friendly and dedicated to their job.I have nothing but the highest opinion of the Ravenna clinic!

I've made a lot of progress and I love how they have good counselors that also offer emdr.

Jenna is an incredibly kind, passionate, empatic and creative therapist who has a wide knowledge of theories and techniqes which allows her to provide insightful and effective support.

I've been to many counselors and never felt comfortable opening up completely. The first time I met with Nicole, I left knowing this was going to be a great experience, and I felt comfortable being totally transparent. She has helped me find myself again and continues to work on me to be the best version of me! Thank you, Nicole!!!
