Summary: The Ridge is an excellent comprehensive treatment program for alcohol use disorder (and others). I personally had an exceptional experience with the residential treatment program, intensive outpatient therapy, and aftercare. Nothing about this experience was easy but I am confident that due to my experience with The Ridge I have a solid recovery foundation (I am just over 4 months sober currently).This review focuses on residential careHighlights-well developed program that is evidence based-full days-attendance at local 12 step meetings-access to a wide variety of recreational activities and art and music therapy classes-I felt prepared when I left and have continued to feel that way (it has been difficult but I have the tools)-staff are compassionate and helpful; many are in recovery themselves- peer support- comfortable accomodations and excellent foodMy advice if you are going to a program like The Ridge (these things helped me to have continued success today)-follow the rules, yes they may seem silly-do awkward things they ask like getting a temporary sponsor and numbers at meetings-listen to their advice, they may says things that sound stupid,my experience is that the things I think sound stupid end up being the pertinent ones-try to relax into the time; enjoy not having to do a ton of chores, cook for yourself etc-take the time to build a new hobbyI electected to go to The Ridge when I came to terms with the fact that I have an alcohol use disorder. I was receiving psychiatric care and my provider gently led me to acknowledge this. Two providers independently recommended The Ridge when I expressed interest in treatment.ResidentialI initially signed up for the 30 day program but decided to stay longer as I was getting a lot out of the program and am really happy that I did.Residential days are very full. The beginning of the day is filled with groups. The afternoon has time for recreational activities (no naps). A lot of people take up pickleball during this time but there is also the option to go to the pool (when open), do art, write, etc. Evenings there are 12 step meetings in the community.AccomodationsI stayed in a private room which I would say was Marrott quality. Cleaning services are provided. You are expected to make your bed (a pretty minor thing). The meals are excellent and snacks are freely available. The culinary staff are great- very personable and great educators. It was sufficiently comfortable and quiet enough to get quality sleep.NursingNursing staff were generally available and very helpful. Medication time windows could be a bit tight but were feasible.Recovery support specialist staffRecovery support specialists helped with sessions, daily questions, and herding everyone, They all have different personalities but in general were very easy to get along with. Supervisory staff were very helpful and responsive.CounselorsGenerally had very helpful sessions, individual counseling was very helpful.

So much better than I could have imagined. From the 1st moment I stepped through the front door till I left, I felt like i was a priority and not just another patient! Great staff all around. The center is setup with everything needed for your successful recovery. If you need help this is the right place to find it. Wish I would have known what I know now I would have came here sooner!

From the 1st day I walked in Brightview I felt welcome. Each and every staff member treats you like you re an old friend. They show compassion, kindness and you re always greeted with a smile. I m so thankful I came to Brightview!

When I checked myself in at The Bluffs I was certain about one thing. If my overarching goal was simply to stop drinking I would fail. However, if I flipped that and uncovered - then addressed - the reason for my slide into alcoholism I was confident of my success. I shared this with Jacob during my intake session and asked if the staff at the bluffs was prepared to guide me along that path. He assured me that they were. He was right! I committed to that work 200% over the 30 days, diving deep into the situations that led me into self medicating. Not only did the staff help me accomplish my goal, I got much more than I expected, uncovering things I didn t even know were part of the issue. But here s the thing; it took total honesty, deep vulnerability, and complete commitment. It was tough, exhausting and the most beautiful thing I have done for myself. I am nearly 8 months sober and have everyone at The Bluffs to thank for that. I am deeply grateful for their patience, skill, expertise and humility about their own life stories. I recommend The Bluffs at the highest level. If you are reading this, you are possibly considering this program for yourself or a loved one. Do it! Please do it.

Great recovery center they are on top of everything they don't judge you they work with you and your every need from recovery to counseling to financial needs

Spero Health understands!! They will pick you up and guide you out of the dark place that you are in. They will listen without judgment and you will quickly realize that they are not just employees. I grew to love everyone there just as much as I love my own friends/ family!! They truly saved my life and I will forever be grateful for everything they did for me!! I highly recommend them and I pray this review gives you the hope that you needed and will chose them to help you too!!

This place saved my father's life from alcohol addiction, and my parents marriage. I am forever grateful to the staff here. My father drank his entire life and needed to stop on a dime. I am glad to report months later that he hasn't had another sip and just graduated from part of his recovery. Thank you forever and I hope you all continue to do such incredible work!

I felt forgiveness immediately. Everyone is so kind, approachable, and well organized. I made an appointment just before the office opened on a Friday. I was in terrible withdrawal pain. Bright View's nurses and staff courteously excorted me to comfort. I'm glad I chose to go here. Group therapy is amazing and insightful. Transportation provided. Very little is not provided. Weekly prescriptions to begin with. The hotline is available at all times. I have been with Bright View since September 2023. Addiction is treatable and this clinic works well with me to try to solve my problems. They're going as far as they can to change individual drug habits and doing a great job.

Very welcoming and comforting recovery center. Great staff and nursing and will help you get your life together and back on the tractor to the beginning of your new successful life.

There are people here who care. Several have played a significant role in my personal recovery, this program is second to none. I've been all over the state for recovery, Ohio Treatment Center is by far the most complete program that I have been a part of, which has given me the motivation to pursue a career in recovery and hopefully work with these individuals who have proven to be the best of the best.

Best detox facility ever! Great staff, great service, great food! They make you feel like your family and loved!
