I was here for a year in 2014, i ve heard it s been worse since they linked up with PATH, and i ve had horrible experiences with Path and their trauma and crisis therapists, and many other of their services and staff and their board team is juuust awful. which is why i m giving a one. I wouldn t dare trust PATH with my kids safety. In 2014 though, i hated the staff but i also liked them a lot too. The cook Rachel was THE BEST cook i ve ever met in my life and every wednesday we would get a sweet for the snack time and her fried ice cream was amazing, she treated me to sushi before she left too. I really did miss her but by then i was already almost out too, (i hope you re doing good rachel!!!) I thought i should also mention back then, there were doors leading outside that didn t lock, so we could run when we wanted lol.I was given a sandisk mp3 player back then and there was a whole book on songs you could have, i still have it! They also let us have roommates with the other girls under certain circumstances. I met some amazing staff and people in general back then. When i left, i did cry a lot because i missed them all. They did help me in the long run, but again, this place has clearly gone downhill and i wouldn t ever put my kids here considering path.

I really like the folks who work for Altru because they treat me like I actually matter, and like I'm more than just words on a screen or page. I would definitely recommend almost every single medical professional I have seen in the entire system because literally only one doctor has so far not been courteous or caring. Otherwise, premium care!

    Brianna Alexander
My sister may have been more forgiving but I just cannot. Great that housing and support groups are provided, but what good is it without continuous actual emotional and mental support. Talking with other recovering addicts and going through my mother s text messages with Josh, sounds like this place lacks in compassion and patience. Multiple threats on eviction for no obvious reason? Condescending messages to someone asking why they are being treating that way? We were told the environment is often cliquey and judgmental unless you re following the exact steps of everyone else. Not a good place for someone in such a vulnerable state. He was clearly waiting, maybe even pushing, for her to leave voluntarily. Being rude and passive aggressive. The only thing holding us back from a lawsuit is the very fact she eventually volunteered to leave your toxic environment. You should not be running a rehabilitation center and speak to people seeking help the exact way you did. You should not be running a rehabilitation center if you lack compassion, understanding, patience, forgiveness, and generosity. This is not a stable place for someone in a state of vulnerability. And maybe I m not understanding the whole situation so I d be glad for you to enlighten me. Thanks for doing the bare minimum at least. For someone deciding this place, there are a lot better, stable, and supportive centers elsewhere.
