Did the 90 days in fall of 2019. The program basically focuses on Addictive and criminal thinking patterns and the ones who give it a chance will get something out of it. Mr. Ray was my counselor and from day one was fair to all and a good , down to earth counselor. The concerns process was a blast and I can talk all day here but words can't explain the experience you just have to go if given a chance. It's not suppose to be fun ( which it isnt) but given the chance it can have a positive effect. PULL UP!!!

The food was great, but we weren't able to grill steaks like we wanted to. However, we wrote a letter to the Cook and everyone in our ward signed it. The next day, we were served the best hamburgers that we have ever tasted. The lawn was a great place to meet new friends. Bring your own pillow because pillows are of high demand. Mostly, we watched TV, and could change channels if everyone agreed. Medicine has changed a lot since a decade ago. They balanced my medication in two weeks. The nurses really cared for us, but expect a short doctor visit. The staff is over worked and underpaid, but they go out of their way to create a pleasant experience. For me, the best part is the friends I made. They kept us busy with classes. In group therapy, I did not know how many people had the same problems that I had. Because beds are short, you can expect to leave in short time. As soon as your medicine is adjusted, and you attend classes that teach you how to cope, you are gone. Some people have been there a long time because they simply cannot take care of themselves in the real world. You can't smoke. This is a puzzle for me, because nicotine has been proven to calm the voices if someone has schizophrenia like me. Coffee is available, but it is made from peanut skins and contains no caffeine at all. It is useless to ask for nicotine patches or gum. If you you read the medical stuff about patches and gum, you will find that these products are non-addictive. What gives? If you want a patch or gum, all you have to do is to ask a nurse. I find it very helpful that they make sure that you have a safe place to go to when you leave. They also make sure that you continue to get help with an out-patient treatment and support system. I could go on and on about Cherry Hospital. They taught me how to take care of myself. I dropped all my old friends, and now have new ones. It is just a fad, but you might like to bring your favorite cup or blanket. Everything you need is provided for you, but sometimes you need to ask. They explained why I had to take my medication, and that was my major problem.

My husband and I both were amazed at the care he received recently at this hospital. The doctors as well as all the staff were nothing but the best. We both felt he was getting the best most personable care of any hospital we have gone to ever before. They did not make him feel like he was just a number. They were very caring and compassionate. It was important for both of us to understand what he was going through and why and they did their best to take the time to explain. Even though they had to keep repeating they didn't show their frustration. Because of the hospital I will be changing to the ECU HEALTH PRIMARY CARE near the hospital.

I was initially very apprehensive about starting treatment at a methadone clinic, having heard negative things about such facilities in general. I expected JRS to be no different, but they have completely transformed my view of methadone treatment and shown me how compassionate and caring the staff at MAT centers can be. The team at JRS is exceptional, and my counselor Hannah has been one of my biggest supporters I am incredibly thankful for her. If you're like I was, scared or hesitant to start treatment, but considering JRS, please take the step and check them out. You won't regret it. They've not only supported my mental health but also ensured from day one that I received aid, making my treatment free, and quickly provided other invaluable resources that have been life-changing. I highly recommend JRS to anyone seeking help for addiction.

I am a patient here and have been for almost a year and it has changed my life and since Melissa has taken over things have gotten much better. Sometimes we would have to wait up to 2 hours for our medication and after working out some kinks it's a lot better

I have been sober for 1.5 years because of JTC. I ll be completely free from MAT before the end of year and I m so thankful to my counselor Brittany and the nurses/Dr. use the program don t abuse it and you can change your life. One day at a time
