To aid participants and outside recovering individuals with broadening their understanding of recovery and further supporting the community, various trainings, including the Recovery Coach and PRS (Peer Recovery Specialist) are facilitated here. Practically everyone here greets each other and have nothing but love for their community. For both the current participants and alumni, many opportunities and events are hosted by McShin to keep everyone connected and assist in building a network. Their work goes outside of the programs. They visit jails to spread hope. Provide outreach. Offer grants to those in need. Have a podcast, which is available to listen to on YouTube and hundreds of correctional facilities. To help educate families, they offer a family group. Families are also welcome to come to community meetings and events to support their loved one(s). It is a very family friendly place in general.
