This is an excellent facility if you want to change your life for the better. The ciriculum is very strict and demanding. The facility is very clean and offers Excellent home cooked meals three times a day. The location and View is Amazing. Most of the Counselors are very supportive and are willing to put the work in if you are dedicated to your recovery. Also helps with your aftercare and sets you up to succeed in life. 4 stars because a very small percentage of employees are very passive with patients. The Washburne house is hands down the best DETOX/CSS In the State. I ve been to probably all of them and I ve never had a better experience. I went in October 2024 broken, lost my spouse of 20 yrs my business, my truck, and my apartment. I was negative about my future and ready to not even try. When I left I went to the facility I wanted to go, I was positive, and for the first time of many times trying in the past Im really serious and ready to stay sober. I can t say enough or express how much the BHTS CASEWORKER/CLINICIANS MDS/NURSING, and the kitchen and House Kitchen staff have made an impact on my stay. I would and will recommend anyone who wants to get there life together and seriously change the Washburn house is a place that will make you feel welcome and give you all the tools and support to continue and get you where you need to go on your journey to sobriety. On a final note I m going back in 6 months and apply to work part time as a BHT so I can give back the same experience and help to the next person in need also feel the same as the Washburn House made me feel. Thank you aWashburn House for everything Brian S.

My cousin has struggled with addiction for most of his adult life. He s been to countless rehabs, tried meditation and even hypnosis to get over his issues with substances. It wasn t until he joined Paramount Recovery Centers PHP that he actually began to embrace sobriety as his new norm. You see, what my cousin never had was a sense of community, and that is exactly what Paramount provided. It was clear from the moment I dropped him off with the clinical staff that he was going to be in good hands. Without Paramount my cousin may be in jail or even worse, deceased. We will always remember Paramount as the place that saved his life.

Avenues was my 3rd treatment center that I ve been to and hopefully my last. Just to get it out of the way it s not the Ritz Carlton by any means but the place is well taken care of and comfortable considering it holds up to 49 men and women in three different buildings. There s a gym with some amenities to get a good workout in and they feed us very well. What more do you need?Honestly I can say so many wonderful things about this place but I ll try to keep it short and sweet. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and caring. They truly do care, and it shows. Most of them have been in treatment themselves and understand the disease of addiction first hand. The groups were always informative and engaging and counseling is offered as well. What really stood out to me and made my treatment experience different from the others was the other clients. The camaraderie between us all was something I had never experienced in my life and made me feel a part of. The bonds that I created were genuine and for the first time in my life I felt accepted. The opposite of addiction is connection and I found just that at Avenues. I felt for the first time that I could just be myself, my true authentic self, and everyone accepted me and loved me for who I was and where I was at.Karaoke Sundays were the highlight of my week. To be real it was my first time doing Karaoke! They say to stay sober you gotta do things you ve never done and it starts with getting out of your comfort zone and being vulnerable.HERE S THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTYou will get back exactly what you put in and if you choose to just let those walls down and let others see you, you will be OK.They also offer an Alumni program so when you graduate and get out you can stay connected with others who have graduated and are on the path of recovery. You can get involved with a bunch of different activities and get togethers which are all free!I realize I m not alone anymore and I can t say how grateful I am for that.
