I've been to clinics in Illinois, South Carolina, and in my home of GA. The longest I've gone to a clinic was almost 11 years. I left for a year and went back to one in ga. I informed them I was going to be traveling alot they said it would be okay no biggie. Not true. I barely made it to 70mg, I barely got clean. When I got to pathways I was supposed to be here for, at the most 2 months. The least 4 weeks. My clinic wanted them to drop me to 60mg & drug test me before they'd dose me.. Christina didn't understand this logic. If I would've failed a drug test then its not like they would've turned me away. And she agreed with me that 70mg is low especially 60mg. I was on 130mg for YEARS. I'm still having withdrawal symptoms after 5pm everyday. But I've increased to 75 hoping to go up again soon. .. This place is different but in a good way . I'm used to being treated like the medicine (in my opinion) that I take to live is something to be looked down upon & heavily mandated. I'm used to the clinics making you empty your pockets for a drug test. Can't be on your phone in the waiting area at some places bc they want to know if you're going to nod out. Peek and troths make you sit for 1-3 hours no phone. Nothing. And it's early in the morning...you think you wouldn't be tired no matter what? Pathways is honestly the only place I've ever been to that seems to care about you and not the money. The first day there the counselors remembered my name. I didn't have to correct them on important aspects of my life they asked about, I've had counselors that after a year or more of seeing me 2x a month couldn't remember if I had kids. I understand most of the clinics I've gone to are big. But damn.. the smaller one, the counselor I had, I had never had a counselor put me into an actual anxiety attack . Her non chalant attitude and voice and the first time speaking with her she insisted I didn't tell a certain person if I had issues with her, my counselor, bc she was mean & If I told this other person she'd defend her..the person she said not to tell was a very good person, I told her, "what? She isn't mean I love her " like what? But at P pathways even the security guard is cool as hell!

I go here for chemical dependency therapy, and after years of battling addiction and being on the losing side of the battle, I am finally winning my battle. And a big part of that is to the phenomenal help I get from my therapist and MAT dr. At Evelyn Brandon. My therapist is such a sweetheart. I can call or email her anytime of any day and she'll respond as soon as she can and help me through whatever. They act as more than drug counselors, they're life counselors too.Plus I have a once a week group zoom meeting that I attend through Evelyn Brandon as well that I've gained some real close bonds with other recovering addicts so that I know that I'm never alone in this life long battle against my demons.I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get help with either their mental health &/or their drug&/or alcohol addictions.. trust me, life is so much better being free from substances. How Much Does Drug Rehab Cost in Rochester?

Rochester is the 368th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $47888. This is significantly lower than the average cost of $56653 for addiction treatment in New York and significantly lower than the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.

The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Rochester vary widely and depend on several factors, including:

Comparing the Cost of Rehab in Rochester

The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.

These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.

    Drug Use in Rochester

Rochester has the 163rd highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Monroe county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Rochester or Monroe county as a whole.

Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Rochester.
