MCCA mcdonough was my 4th rehab and probably my last chance to get sober. It was the best place for me to come to in the state I was in and honestly Jenni, Heather, and Michelle are THE best counselors I ve ever met and worked with out of all the rehabs I ve been to. They believed in me when I didn t believe in myself. And they all go above and beyond to help any client with whatever they can. They are the reason I have remained so connected to the program, as well as helping me get back on my feet and in sober living and building a community and network in recovery. I have seen some positive reviews here but I ve also seen some negative, and it s a shame those people didn t have the experience I did because these counselors not only saved my life but they have changed it and me for the better. When i was there in 2018 it was very strict which most people cant complete theu get kicked out or relapse. The then director Andrea was a tough woman to trick or get one over on. Counselors come and go thst normal. Brian the house manager was also amazing and there for a long time. I heard its not the same its easy to get over on staff which isnt good for the people trying to get better. Id love to know to who the new director is. I am a disabled veteran and have been seen at the Goshen VA Clinic regularly since 2016. The care there has always been excellent. It is a small clinic, so you have to adapt to their resources, like, that the lab work is only done in the mornings, and the My Healthy Vet self-service kiosk doesn't work, but the reception staff have always been very good.
