A bed, food, shower, a safe place to get clean and healthy, AMAZING staff who truly care about what they do and help in any way they can, a great stepping stone for integration back into the world after inpatient rehab. MCCA mcdonough was my 4th rehab and probably my last chance to get sober. It was the best place for me to come to in the state I was in and honestly Jenni, Heather, and Michelle are THE best counselors I ve ever met and worked with out of all the rehabs I ve been to. They believed in me when I didn t believe in myself. And they all go above and beyond to help any client with whatever they can. They are the reason I have remained so connected to the program, as well as helping me get back on my feet and in sober living and building a community and network in recovery. I have seen some positive reviews here but I ve also seen some negative, and it s a shame those people didn t have the experience I did because these counselors not only saved my life but they have changed it and me for the better. I don t know where I would be right now without their help, guidance, and assistance, and I fully plan on doing everything in my power to stay clean so I can come back one day, share my story for their groups to show that recovery is possible, the program works, and if you allow these amazingly generous women to help you that you too can have a life beyond your wildest dreams.

Personally this is the best methadone clinic I have ever been to and I've been to a few. Especially since they moved to.the new building. Unless you don't go dose until the last second there is no line. My counselor is a lovely lady (yay Megan) and goes out of her way and above and beyond for me if I need anything or help with something. I have never been spoken to rudely or disrespected by anyone working there, receptionists included. They have changed their hours since covid and the schedule has been a blessing, it has cut wait times in half. The only negative thing would be the clients causing trouble and arguing with staff. Usually about something clearly not allowed and then after being told no by the staff in regards to whatever stupid thing they loudly ask, clients will very loudly throw a tantrum about how that the staff is sooooo mean and unfair. Also the camera is not a recording it is a live feed and only in the bathrooms used for drug tests.. its up in the corner of the bathroom and only used for monitored urines and you are told when they are using it beforehand. Unless you're hiding something and trying to cheat the drug test it's no different than if the person collecting it was standing next to you monitoring. And these bathrooms were not available to anyone except clients taking UAs.

When i was there in 2018 it was very strict which most people cant complete theu get kicked out or relapse. The then director Andrea was a tough woman to trick or get one over on. Counselors come and go thst normal. Brian the house manager was also amazing and there for a long time. I heard its not the same its easy to get over on staff which isnt good for the people trying to get better. Id love to know to who the new director is. Also the house is amazing compared to like renwick house in newburgh.

I am a disabled veteran and have been seen at the Goshen VA Clinic regularly since 2016. The care there has always been excellent. It is a small clinic, so you have to adapt to their resources, like, that the lab work is only done in the mornings, and the My Healthy Vet self-service kiosk doesn't work, but the reception staff have always been very good.
