My Uncle Frank J Bielawa was admitted to the /Albany /VA the first week of December recovering from Pneumonia and Covid-19. He unfortunately suffered a massive stroke just days into his recovery and is now receiving End of Life care.Frank is a 99 year old WW2 Veteran and the care he's receiving from the VA Staff on 8th Floor/ B Corridor has been Outstanding.The attending staff across all 3 shifts has attended to my uncle keeping him comfortable and clean in such a respectful and professional manner, its been overwhelming from my past experiences visiting other private facilities.For Veterans who are in need of Medical Help and Assistance, the Albany VA and the Staff of the 8 Floor are the Standard for Excellence in Veteran Care.On behalf of my Uncle Frank who has lost the ability to communicate, thank you , thank you , thank you ...10 Stars

Camino Nuevo, has been my cornerstone for my continued and successful recovery. I did not believe I would have had such great results or have had met and worked with the professional staff and friendly and helpful resources, that have made available, for the clients. God Bless the services and outreach programs at Camino Nuevo. I use to come here for years and then I moved and have been guest dosing - my husband and I - and there s no clinic available in the area not even Kingston.My home clinics still Binghamton - I emailed and emailed and no response a whenever i go in their busy. They know me,They were both my counselors before I left.I just need to have my insurance cover bc it s expensive and taking from my kids and I cannot keep borrowing. Please just let us be patients there or help us set up a can every day 4 hours a day to get to Binghamton. But doing that will affect me working. Idk im just fed up and I wish I wasn t on the dose I am or I d just stop.Yet id still give 5 stars bc everyone is just really sweet.

They are very supportive, they are honest with you and want you to recover in an effective way, so they help you find the right center.

I went in 2007 and received the best help I needed but didn't use it.

I've posted a few comments what's important is that the program works they now let u smoke bud also something alot of us worried about for take-homes but things WILL NOT always go your way I guess my advice to myself and others is simply keep going even if it gets rough and feels hard keep going even if you know your clean and a test says otherwise false positives or whatever they might be, just know that in the long run it is saving your life!!

This place saved my life .. I don t even know where to start. They welcomed me in with open arms in a judgement free zone, made sure I had everything I needed for food, hygiene, meds, and general support. EVERY SINGLE STAFF member was caring and attentive to my needs from check in to check out. I can t thank and recommend this place enough .. huge specific shout outs to little Kayla, Jim, Rodger, Dave, and I forgot her name but the lady that does the meditation! And from the bottom of my heart thank you all again you are literally life savers !

Provides excellent clinical recovery services

I'm not sure were to start. Besides having a wonderful family, friends and a few staff at Soldier On to help (really above and beyond) me in my recovery (still have a little more to do)The staff at Hillcrest Commons are just the most caring group of people. I wish I could put their names down individually but I can't thank you all enough.From the RNs, LPNs, Aids, PT/OT, Kitchen crew, Cleaners, Social Workers, Maintenance, Laundry and I'm sure I'm missing some others but what a good team. All shifts work pretty darn well together. I like that they hear your concerns and if they don't have the answer, they will try and find it. Austen Riggs saved my life. I stayed for 7 months a couple years ago. Austen Riggs provides a safe, supportive, wonderful setting for a struggling individual to put in the work and find healing in the midst of amazing staff and fellow patients. For infinite reasons, I highly recommend. Although, just as any treatment center, it must be the right fit for the individual and their personal struggles. All the negative reviews are not accurate or a reflection of this amazing place.
