Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I went to new life for a about a month but after 4 appointments my counselor did not get more sessions scheduled for the same time and day as was promised upon leaving my final session so trust was definitely lost. When I called and asked for 1 appointment I was scheduled multiple and then charged $75 for a one "No call no show" when I did not make the appointment in the first place.

Jessica Pottorff is extremely unprofessional. i would not recommend seeking help from her. she makes fun of her clients. very upsetting behavior.

Response from the owner1 year ago
Hi Hilary, I have searched our records and have verified that you are not, nor have ever been a customer of our business. Upon investigation it seems your issue is with an honest and reasonable review our employee left after an experience with your business. As it was a personal experience, she was not there as a representative of our business. If you would like to further discuss your concerns with us I ask that you call or email us at info@newlife-counseling.com.

Emilie is extremely unprofessional and uneducated when it comes to complex parenting situations. She made a tough situation far worse than it already was. It was so bad that we contacted the licensing board. She has no business being in this profession. She does not practice the Christian values that this agency uses as their platform. It's disappointing that a therapist would do so much damage to a child's mental health.

I am sorry you were unhappy with your experience. We have internally investigated the situation, but unfortunately due to HIPAA concerns we are unable to specifically comment about it on here. Please know that as a practice we ensure that each of our providers have met and operate under the rigorous educational requirements and ethical standards for their profession as set forth by the ACA as well as the state licensure board. If you would like to further discuss, you may reach out to our owner at info@newlife-counseling.com

Very disorganized office. Scheduled two separate appointments and both times they did not have record of the appointment. A complete waste of time! When someone is struggling with mental health, seeing a counselor should be so hard to connect. They made us feel insignificant and unimportant NO I would not recommend this place.

Hi Gina, Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry to hear that this was your experience; this definitely isn't the experience we want for our clients. Due to HIPAA concerns we are unable to comment here further. We have internally investigated this situation and I would love to chat with you if you have a moment. Please feel free to reach out to me (sarah.newlife50023 @ gmail.com).

If you re looking for a counseling team who takes sides and favors a person. If you re looking for a counseling team who will recommend divorce and tear families apart this is your team!! LOOK NO FURTHER YOUVE FOUND THE GREATEST TEAM HELP TO HELP U PLAY VICTIM! Maybe they don t all recommend divorce but Julie Roche Recommends divorce and tearing families apart instead of trying to build them together. She says she is a Christian woman which is exactly why a lot of people talk negatively about Christians. She is a prime example of that.

*Please note that this provider does NOT work at New Life Counseling* As a practice we do not take sides, favor individuals or recommend divorce or tearing families apart; as a faith-based practice we believe what the Bible has to say about divorce. It is our heart and mission to equip individuals to make their own decisions by utilizing sound psychological theory and interventions based on your unique needs.
