I waited 2 years to leave a review, I thought 2 years of being around this home would give me enough time to truly get to know this place. New life home has helped my love one thrive in life again. The staff here is beyond amazing and really care about the women and children who enter their doors. My favorite part about this place is that it really is a home where you feel loved, cared for and supported. If you are struggling in any aspect of life I 100 percent recommend calling New life homes so they can help you change your life like they did with my family member. I will forever be greatful for New Life Home and it will always have a special place in my heart.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
Intervention services helps family or friends of addicts stage an intervention, which is a meeting in which loved ones share their concerns and attempt to get an addict into treatment. Professional intervention specialists can help loved ones organize, gather, and communicate with an addict. They can guide intervention participants in describing the damage the addict's behavior is causing and that outside help is necessary to address the addiction. The ideal outcome of an intervention is for the addict to go to rehab and get the help they need.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Treatment provided at drug rehab in New Hampshire prepares individuals to handle life stressors without using substances. Participants get the tools and support they need to maintain lifelong recovery.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT) is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy meant to be short-term and comprehensive. It was intended to help clients become more self-sufficent and move forward without the need for expensive, ongoing therapy. It includes an emotional self-help method called “rational self-counseling,” the purpose of which is to give clients all the skills needed to handle future emotional issues by themselves, or with significantly less professional help.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

I started to see her more and more and now she is home with me and my dad and my dog Max. I am so happy my mom went to New Life Home. I can t imagine my life without her or imagine what would have happened to her if she decided not to go. Thank you New Life Home for helping my mom and bringing her back to life and back to me.

I came to New Life in October of 2016 hopeless, scared, lost, and desperate for a new start in life due to my own painful past and issues with depression and alcoholism. Here, I met the Lord and learned of His great love for me, and experienced His healing and wholeness that transformed me into a new creation in Christ.By the security and acceptance I experienced at New Life Home, and through the unconditional love shown to me by the amazing Staff who continually stood beside me through the healing of every hurt I had every experienced, I have been set free from crippling depression, fear & insecurity and I now have the confidence and self-worth I so desperately needed by discovering who I am as a daughter of God! It's not easy to heal from the pain of the past--trauma, failure, or the criticisms of the world spoken over you, but had I not had the constant support, guidance, protection, and wisdom from the Staff at New Life, I would not be the miracle I am today. And now, by divine design I m sure, it has become my passion to help women struggling with the same issues find hope and new life in Him who calls us chosen, loved, and accepted. The path that the Lord has set me on directed my steps to Liberty University s Business Administration Degree program for such a time as this to train me for my calling into HR Management. This NEVER would have been possible had I not experienced the healing and transforming grace of this place that will forever be my HOME.I am proud, proud graduate of this life-changing and LIFE-GIVING program! I plan to continue to pursue my passion for helping women know who they are in the Lord and growing my skills in office administration while serving as the current Office Supervisor and continuing to obtain my bachelor's degree from Liberty University.Thank you, New Life Home, for giving me a new life, a new mind, a new heart, and the confidence to pursue my dreams! "For I know the plans I have for you; plans to prosper you; plans to give you a hope and a future." Jer. 29:11 And this is exactly what I found here!

New Life Home is not only a safe, beautiful and peaceful haven for women and their children, but also a place where they can grow into the women they were always meant to be. I had the privilege of meeting these awesome families and had the first-hand experience of seeing this program in action as I taught there for about 9 months last year. I saw lives restored and transformed into radiant beauties. The program is exceptional as it follows a holistic approach to provide increasing health in body, mind, soul, and spirit. What a gift! I think all women, including myself, should have the opportunity to go through New Life Home's program and this type of experience. I'm hoping that this organization and their program extends and expands throughout the community and beyond!

Went to this place today and got an eerie feeling.. Definitely seemed Cultish... We didn't even go past the front door when I stepped in and that seemed very odd.. As if they were trying to hide what this place is really like. One thing that stood out to me was that I was told the program is 18-24 month program and you are not allowed to work in that time.. You would have to completely rely on them for everything which is very unsettling.. You would be expected to give them a deposit of $300-$500... In that sense ur independence Is necessary to come up with that money but you need to let it go once you live with them... You would need to 100% rely on a house of people you barely know in order to get help out of a toxic situation and to me that sounds like I'm entering another Toxic Situation.. I don't know these ppl from anywhere.. How can I leave my job and rely on them for all that I need?... And then before I left the lady takes me outside and prays with me which may not have seemed so strange had she not been squeezing my hands so GatDamn Hard as if she felt I was possessed or something.. I would not bring Myself or my Children into this no matter how desperate I am.. This place definitely seems like a trap... Ummmm... or a Cult...And I barely ever have time to actually type a review but this was Necessary and reading the other reviews confirms what I felt... PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THIS PLACE... BE CAREFUL... DON'T ALLOW DESPERATION TO MAKE YOU LOSE THAT 7TH SENSE... U DON'T NEED AN OUTSIDE GOD TO HELP YOU REALIZE WHEN SOMETHING DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT... IT'S A FEELING... DON'T IGNORE IT...
