I am so grateful to have found this place. Everyone here is incredibly supporting, caring and understanding. the therapists are great, dr. akunna is amazing and my group members make it worth coming to each day.

Greater Essex helped me tremendously one of the best decisions I made was to go to greater Essex everybody there was polite and professional they treated me like family and I'm very grateful

This place saved my life and changed it... I didn t have anywhere to go and they welcomed me immediately. See nothing is free and yes it is a business but this place is not money oriented. They not only helped me live a better life but they helped anyone and everyone they could. Everyone is different and that is what people don t understand. You can t compare yourself with another because like I said every one is diagnosed differently. The staff to the owners are really caring and yes as time progresses and your mental health is stable, they put more responsibilities on the client because that is what the real world is about. This place is different from all the other because they simply care about the clients well being more than anything. People forget the condition they came in and just complain about the accommodations rather than being grateful for all the good they have done and all the help they had gave... They care a lot. I came here alone feeling lonely and now I made something close to a family...

I am so much gratuity to this program from my IOP with Anna and my GOP with Nikki my time with chastity who did my intake and I apologize I cannot forget my Latino brother with the curly hair in the back for some reason his name is escaping me but I even have to throw in the lady sitting at the front desk whose name is Tasha the entire experience there what's a blessful one I will never forget any of you even one of our other counselors Frank who is a genuine person I've learned from each and every one of you guys there even Pam who had dropped out for her own personal reasons she substituted for Anna one day I will never forget her either once again I greatly appreciate all of your help I am a completely different person now not just for who I am but my attitude completely I greatly appreciate your counseling experience that is why I will be back to show my gratuity every chance that I get !

I have been a patient since 2013. I had an emergency and needed the help from my counselor... Jasmine... And The Head Nurse... Donna Marie. I had just lost my counselor and I was stressed. I made it to the clinic and Jasmine and Donna Marie helped me with my situation. Jasmine is a wonderful caring woman and she made me feel right at home... First time meeting her. And Donna Marie... I don't know how this place would run without her She is super professional but has amazing need side manner I am blessed for the kindness of these two woman. And everyone else who works there. I REALLY appreciate the kindness and compassion that literally greets you at the door... I've only been on the program for a couple of months and I haven't met any staff member or supportive staff member(i.e. nursing, admissions) that have not been respectful and helpful... Ms. Smith is so-oo down to earth and knowledgeable, she makes it easy to identify and address my issues...I'm so glad that I chose Lennard as the foundation for my recovery... I am feeling like I'm gonna be a success... So if, like myself, your issues got issues, come to Lennard, open up to one of their awesome counselors,(like Ms. Smith and/or Rajahn) find yourself, and reach for the stars ...
