Okay so I've been to a hand full of different PHPs and treatment places. Unfortunately I have lot of experiences with these kind of places. The issue is a lot of these places don't have anywhere near the the same accommodation that Victory Bay offers. This place is a great balance of giving support, knowledge and the opportunity to become independent under the healing process of addiction. They allow you to have family sessions, one on ones, EMDR and TMS treatment/therapist opportunities. On day one they assign you a case worker, this person can help you find a job, schedule appointments for doctors, help you apply to college, find you a nutrients and more. This program has a lot more freedoms than other places I've been in. That freedom really allows me to grow as a person without being held on a leach. The structure of the program is very appropriate and is willing to work with you if you have other responsibilities like court, employment or even being sick. The housing of Victory Bay is fair, I personally feel like all sober houses will have there ups and downs, however this place has been a better experience. There are techs who also watch over the house and give meds in the morning and nights. They are all very understanding and are willing to listen to you and help in anyway they can. The tech at the house also give you the opportunity to attend meetings every night. If you have a home group near by the houses they can drive you there or send you a lift to attend the meeting you want. All and all, this place is fantastic to begin or continue the journey of recovery. I cant recommend this treatment place enough! I am currently still in treatment here but I've been here for close to 9 months.

Updated 2024 - Still grateful for ARS. The nursing & front window staff is incredible. THEY are who holds this place together & keeps it running smoothly. But since my original review, owners have taken on even MORE patients. I have gotten to a place where I only go 2 xs a month. So doesn't affect me as much as it will newer patients. But still wanted to make a note of it.I have to start out saying ARS is what you make of it. I have been on this program for many years (that is MY journey, maybe not yours) but i have YET to have ANY issues with staff abusing power. A legit 10 + years and not ONCE has anyone abused their power w me. *IF YOU* Come and do what you are SUPPOSED to. LEAVE when u are done. Stop using (u have time to adjust.) Give clean drug tests. Dont cause chaos & drama. Treat everyone how YOU like to be treated. You should NOT have any problems. *But...If you* Befriend all the slackers w no jobs doing nothing w their lives still. Chill in parking lot for an hour (or until kicked out by security.). Make BFFs w other patients that are STILL living dirty. Find yerself a boyfriend or girlfriend that is still using OR new in recovery also. Basically if you treat this place A SOCIAL EVENT/ dating app - Yes, you WILL have issues & time there WILL suck.I do agree w/ one of the posters before me...it WAS better in Sommers Point. When we moved locations they took on WAY too many patients. When I started there was a little over 200, now there is 3 TIMES PLUS that. Staff doesnt have the time they need & have WAY too much on their caseloads. Granted, Dr.Roth is a SUPERHERO. He will gonabove and beyond for you if he knows you are doing the right thing. But for a PRIVATE (aka for profit) facility, I DO expect to get what I NEED out of it. At OVER $100 a week per patient + payouts for things we accomplish (i.e. groups, sessions, ect) it would be nice to have the community feel we once had here. It was SUCH a great place when the staff wasnt overloaded. And I mean GREAT. I understand this IS FOR PROFIT clinic but it's started to get that "state funded" feel. I mean, obvi this IS a BUSINESS, but still. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. I have moved many times for work in life so have been to 5 diff clinics. State funded AND private. I picked this place BACAUSE it was privately owned. It's STILL a great place, and i am grateful for it. Don't get me wrong... but if u knew how much better it was run BEFORE the move -you'd understand.Again-Stay away from the slackers & drama queens/kings. Do what you are supposed to do. Give clean drug tests, Go to at least 1 group OR see yr councelor for alternate ways if u have a career/work days. GET A JOB or go to school & make something of yourself. Nothing will change if YOU don't. JUST KEEP ALL THIS IN MIND.IT IS 80% WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT AT ARSXO Jess

I'm currently in an unfortunate situation/position, which required me to have an evaluation/services from WHRC. With that being said, I have only had my evaluation and recommendation since, but this is the place to be if you have to be anywhere. When you're dealing with a stressful situation, having compassionate, caring people to help you through, is the only way to be successful. I have only been there one time, but the true care and concern speaks volumes. I'm looking forward to working with them to get through my current situation. Knowing I can be truthful without judgement is very crucial in my success, as well as many others. If you have the option, I highly recommend WHRC!

I rarely write reviews, but I had to write on my experience at Jefferson Hospital and their New Vision Withdrawal department. I had called New Vision and spoke with Matt. Matt went above & beyond to get me in here the same day I called. I thought I wasn't going to get in because of no beds available, but Matt got me in!When I first came in, I was a mess, crying hysterically and felt loss. Matt, had done the intake with me and I went outside to have my last cigarette before admission with Matt. Matt told me his story and how he made it, I felt hopeless at the time but when Matt got me situated in the room, I was feeling a little more comfortable. The nurses, technicians and doctors are great! They helped me with my time as I was withdrawing. They are very friendly, kind and are amazing. I went through hell with my withdrawal, and they were there every step of the way to make me comfortable and to help me detox. Although I had support from family, I felt supported in here. Words can't express how this facility comforted me and encouraged me to stop doing what I was doing. My doctor (Dr. Rancier) was awesome with me, and showed the care I wanted and needed. I felt like he understood me and worked with me.But going back to Matt, who was there for me the entire time and would come up to check in with me. He felt like a friend and someone who cared. He had gone above & beyond for me, making sure I was taken care of and that I would receive my aftercare after leaving the facility. If Matt ever sees this review, thank you for saving my life and taking me in. Without you, I would still be on the same road of destruction.Other than my express about these amazing people, the hospital is very clean, sanitized and well kept. The food is good and had some good TV channels. If you are looking to withdrawal and get clean, please, PLEASE come to New Vision at Jefferson Hospital in Stratford, NJ. As you will be treated amazingly and you won't feel like you're going through it alone. They will take care of you and help you detox with ease.Thank you again Jefferson Hospital and New Vision Withdrawal Management in Stratford, NJ.
