Drug Rehab Centers in Mays Landing, New Jersey

Updated 2024 - Still grateful for ARS. The nursing & front window staff is incredible. THEY are who holds this place together & keeps it running smoothly. But since my original review, owners have taken on even MORE patients. I have gotten to a place where I only go 2 xs a month. So doesn't affect me as much as it will newer patients. But still wanted to make a note of it.I have to start out saying ARS is what you make of it. I have been on this program for many years (that is MY journey, maybe not yours) but i have YET to have ANY issues with staff abusing power. A legit 10 + years and not ONCE has anyone abused their power w me. *IF YOU* Come and do what you are SUPPOSED to. LEAVE when u are done. Stop using (u have time to adjust.) Give clean drug tests. Dont cause chaos & drama. Treat everyone how YOU like to be treated. You should NOT have any problems. *But...If you* Befriend all the slackers w no jobs doing nothing w their lives still. Chill in parking lot for an hour (or until kicked out by security.). Make BFFs w other patients that are STILL living dirty. Find yerself a boyfriend or girlfriend that is still using OR new in recovery also. Basically if you treat this place A SOCIAL EVENT/ dating app - Yes, you WILL have issues & time there WILL suck.I do agree w/ one of the posters before me...it WAS better in Sommers Point. When we moved locations they took on WAY too many patients. When I started there was a little over 200, now there is 3 TIMES PLUS that. Staff doesnt have the time they need & have WAY too much on their caseloads. Granted, Dr.Roth is a SUPERHERO. He will gonabove and beyond for you if he knows you are doing the right thing.But for a PRIVATE (aka for profit) facility, I DO expect to get what I NEED out of it. At OVER $100 a week per patient + payouts for things we accomplish (i.e. groups, sessions, ect) it would be nice to have the community feel we once had here. It was SUCH a great place when the staff wasnt overloaded. And I mean GREAT. I understand this IS FOR PROFIT clinic but it's started to get that "state funded" feel. I mean, obvi this IS a BUSINESS, but still. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. I have moved many times for work in life so have been to 5 diff clinics. State funded AND private. I picked this place BACAUSE it was privately owned.It's STILL a great place, and i am grateful for it. Don't get me wrong... but if u knew how much better it was run BEFORE the move -you'd understand.Again-Stay away from the slackers & drama queens/kings. Do what you are supposed to do. Give clean drug tests, Go to at least 1 group OR see yr councelor for alternate ways if u have a career/work days. GET A JOB or go to school & make something of yourself. Nothing will change if YOU don't. JUST KEEP ALL THIS IN MIND.IT IS 80% WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT AT ARSXO Jess

I love love love this program they bring change for artist coping with PTSD trauma recovery ECt .witch ever you are doing creating buying or selling it's a win win situation . Every piece of art is an extension of that artist~ be blessed and know the artist created it with THIER hearts In creation of the masterpiece the art heals all ~the painter & onlooker taking a piece of art to your home would be an amazing addition that inspires and heals everyone that passes threw your threshold

Through my recovery journey I have been to several outpatient programs over the years including what some consider to be world renowned (Hazelden Betty Ford) and hands down I can say my experience at Rising Phoenix has been the best. When I say this place is the best mental health and addiction outpatient out there trust that it comes from significant experience and trial and error. The staff is top notch and the environment is so comfortable and safe.I also need to give a major shout out to my individual therapist Natalie. She has gone well above and beyond to provide the best possible treatment for me and is the best therapist I've had before.I cannot recommend this program and amazing staff enough!

The ASAP program was absolutely life changing for us, my husband and I thought it was so beneficial. It helped us get through a really tough time and gave us tools to better navigate a situation we never dreamed we would be in. Our daughter came out of a 30 day residential treatment program into ASAP, it was exactly the accountability she needed to stay the course to becoming clean and staying clean. The therapists were really great and the tools and content taught in the program were a game changer for us. ASAP definitely enlightened us on boundaries and the ways we were enabling some of the behaviors unintentionally, we are so grateful for that. While she might never admit it helped save her life, we know it did.

The staff at Scottsdale Recovery is amazing!! From detox to inpatient to IOP every interaction I have had has been so positive!! The programming goes beyond anything I have experienced before. I learn so much in each group on a daily basis. I highly recommend them!!

If this is for yourself, or for a loved one, please take my advice when I say that the staff at Crossroads are top notch, they have the experience, the know how, & the understanding to empathize with someone who is suffering from addiction, trauma & PTSD. Crossroads are a program that actually care about the wellbeing of their clients who attend. I'm a recent graduate of their programs, I'm not being paid to make this review, I am a real person who was a real client of Crossroads, I highly recommend any program they offer to anyone who is in need of help, do yourself the favor & contact them, you won't regret it, good luck! :-)

I was going through an incredibly rough time, and Tina at the front desk stepped in and went above and beyond for me, even though she didn t have to. Her compassion and willingness to help stood out in a way I ll never forget. Despite the chaos of the moment and how much more challenging it made her day, she remained patient, understanding, and truly cared about my situation.What Tina did was not just kind it was extraordinary. In a world where going the extra mile is rare, Tina s actions remind me there are still amazing people out there who genuinely care. I am deeply impressed by her dedication and compassion and feel a profound sense of gratitude toward her. She didn t just do her job; she made a difference in my life, and I am forever in her debt.Tina at the front desk is, without a doubt, the best, and she deserves every bit of recognition. She gets an A+ and so much more in my book!EDIT:Just meet Tesha, and she was absolutely wonderful as well! So caring and sweet, what a great staff here.

I was lucky to be admitted here. I was on scholarship and had to fly in from Wisconsin. Chris B. Picked me up from the airport and brought me to what I consider to be my 2nd home. 10/1/2013 I started my journey. I hung on dearly to that "just for today" and it saved my life. I was provided the tools needed to become sober and this place helped me become the person I am today. Without it I wouldn't be the proud father of 2 Boys that can provide a happy healthy home nor would I be engaged with their mother. Thank you crossroads. You changed my life and I hope to get back to 1845 one day to see everyone.

Unique approach- the focus is walking forward . Trail Walkers and Staff are very genuine and treat the youth in their care with kindness and always looking to build upon their seeds of greatness . Many of the trail guides attended this program as a troubled teen in their youth- which was a testament to me that it was a quality program that participants found helpful in moving forward with their life- so they now want to help someone else do the same.
