After several attempts at rehab my ex husband finally connected with a Davide, a counselor who truly made a difference in helping him complete his long term program and he has now successfully transitioned to sober living and has shifted his mindset and has remained focused on recovery. A huge shout out to Davide for truly caring about the most difficult addict and being a true rehab counselor vs a textbook counselor actively listening to get a better understanding on the root cause of why the addict is in a constant battle with the demons of addiction and leading the addict out of the dark path and towards a brighter road to recovery. I cannot speak positively enough about this recovery center. After a few stints in detox, I finally committed to 30 days in PHP aftercare, and it was one of my best decisions. I needed the 1:1 and group therapy to start working through the mental and emotional traumas and stressors that brought me to alcohol abuse in the first place. The holistic therapies are also fantastic - they provide a safe space to engage outside of discussions (primarily)around trauma. I genuinely left this program feeling better, and that I have the tools to cope with triggers and to stay away from drinking long term. The facility is also absolutely beautiful, inside and out. I been to a couple other treatment centers and I will say that this one is the best one. We get to do yoga twice a week, we get a very good catering lunch. We also get haircuts every other week. The facilitators that teach the classes will get you to think and change the way you see yourself. I ve learned how addiction works and how to manage it. This place is amazing because they re the reason why I started to love myself again and I was also very grateful to meet the best therapist. One of the best groups I ever been in, And one of the best places to get sober. I was able to go to rehab for the first time again. I will pick this place everytime.

Okay so I've been to a hand full of different PHPs and treatment places. Unfortunately I have lot of experiences with these kind of places. The issue is a lot of these places don't have anywhere near the the same accommodation that Victory Bay offers. This place is a great balance of giving support, knowledge and the opportunity to become independent under the healing process of addiction. They allow you to have family sessions, one on ones, EMDR and TMS treatment/therapist opportunities. On day one they assign you a case worker, this person can help you find a job, schedule appointments for doctors, help you apply to college, find you a nutrients and more.This program has a lot more freedoms than other places I've been in. That freedom really allows me to grow as a person without being held on a leach. The structure of the program is very appropriate and is willing to work with you if you have other responsibilities like court, employment or even being sick.The housing of Victory Bay is fair, I personally feel like all sober houses will have there ups and downs, however this place has been a better experience. There are techs who also watch over the house and give meds in the morning and nights. They are all very understanding and are willing to listen to you and help in anyway they can. The tech at the house also give you the opportunity to attend meetings every night. If you have a home group near by the houses they can drive you there or send you a lift to attend the meeting you want.All and all, this place is fantastic to begin or continue the journey of recovery. I cant recommend this treatment place enough! I am currently still in treatment here but I've been here for close to 9 months.

This place is amazing. It s easily the only place out of all the clinics in Burlington county, Camden county, Mercer county, and Philly where you truly go to get and stay sober. There s no one selling drugs there or asking you if you re selling your bottles. No one hanging out outside and asking for cigs or money or pills. It s a clean place with awesome counsler s. I have Lisa. She is a newer counsler there but easily the best one in my opinion. She is very pretty and super easy to talk to and you can talk to her like friends but she also really cares about your recovery. She mixes in friendly conversation and recovery talk very well. She deserves a raise for sure because she is super knowledgeable and just all around amazing at her job and I m not over exaggerating. If you want to get and stay clean, transfer here and get Lisa as a counsler. She will do everything she can to help you. I thank god for this place and all its workers but especially Lisa.

Pinelands helped save my life. I was terrified of going to treatment but quickly felt welcomed at Pinelands from the moment they picked me up from home until the day I left. The staff was amazing and someone was always around to talk if you needed it. I got something out of every group I attended and enjoyed learning about different pathways of recovery - refuge recovery with Kyle was my favorite!
