Although sending my loved one to treatment is never easy, I found Daytop Staff to be patience and helpful. The therapist, Case Management staff and the Clinical Director were very professional and helpful. During my son's stay we participated in the family association and this support was very helpful. In the end it takes a team of good people to make recovery work and I feel that Daytop Staff helped not only my son but us as a whole. Just got here two days ago. Very warm, welcoming and friendly staff. Relevant and very helpful recovery education. House for women is beautiful. Very clean and pleasant house members. Everyone really is working hard on their recovery here and it shows. Wonderful and caring house manager. In just two days, I feel like I am at home and I feel very safe and comfortable. My Journey to this point has consisted of 3 rehabs(not court ordered), 2 DUIs, as well as LOTS of good times, lots of travel, the best Friends and Family! A valuable life worth living! A true Alcoholic that should never ever hold or pick up a drink! Unfortunately now I'm plagued with Kidney and Liver Disease. Initially the mere thought of having a 3 hour meeting with a Therapist and small group was the LAST thing in my Vision. However I need this service for 3 months to possibly get on the Kidney Transplant List. I have grown to truly enjoy Kyle's IOP group. I look forward to it and miss it on Wednesdays and Fridays. Kyle has opened my eyes and nudged me to attend meetings. My answer turned from NO thank you, to I will give AA meetings a go. Keep in mind that I have been in and out of the Program for 20+ years. Guess what? I am enjoying AA meetings now! I dreaded them before. I am grateful to Kyle and his group for pushing me to my next step in Recovery. Such a blessing!! I have been coming to this clinic for a little over 2 years and I have had a great experience. Courtney, the security guard, does such an amazing job and makes me feel safe and makes me feel like I m allowed to have boundaries. Which is so good for my mental health plus the small talk that I have with her has gotten me through depressed days that she might not even know of. Somebody just being nice to you for a second helps a lot I feel the same way about the nurses and the girls at the front Tanisha and I m so sorry, but I forget the other girls name but they are amazing as well. McKenzie my counselor is also a great counselor and I m so happy that I was matched with her because I feel like me and her are great match and we have an amazing connection and every time I leave her office I feel better not worse. so I only have good things to say about the methadone clinic here in Somerdale. The only thing is the driving company connected is not good and they lied about something I did so that s my only complaint, but I still give this five stars.

I won't leave a 5 star but i will give credit where it is due. Thank you for the services you offered and the care you gave to me. I respectfully ask that you hire more staff for the clientele you serve. The stay would have been more efficient and better if not for the short handed staff. Also Kaitlyn one of the counselors needs training and can be very unprofessional, not sure if it's a bias in regards to addicts or race. I was very disappointed in her performance. However there were counselors such as Antionne, Brent, Ms. Cleo, Angela, Brittany and Heather that went above and beyond. Helene, Jason, and both Davids did a wonderful job as staff/BHT. Thank you for helping me on my way in recovery and i would definetely refer any addict who wants help and is serious about recovery to visit Recovery Village. I HAVE 21 DAYS CLEAN AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO HAVE STAYED WITH RECOVERY VILLAGE!!!
