Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

There are many types of drug rehab in North Carolina. To receive treatment for addiction, you can choose from many inpatient and outpatient programs. Often, participants start with detox and work through a full continuum of care that continues with ongoing support for long-term recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

The building is, in my opinion, unsafe and needs many restorations. Also, I don't like the fact that they add you more hours for no reason and the attention you receive for being in the program is not worth what you pay. Is kind of a scam.

What a scam! Husband and wife duo, out to make money only. They don't care if you're using or not, you will have to go to classes because they want you to enroll in their programs. Go somewhere else where the counselors actually listen to you and evaluate you based on your use. These people don't care and it's rigged against you.Red flags from the beginning. Video chat is so unprofessional, using a golden gate bridge background to cover up the boxes and junk in the room. Very closed minded and unknowledgeable about medicinal cannabis in general. The husband was listening in to the evaluation, talking in the background, and making plans to grab some more money before the eval was even over! The wife did the evaluation and didn't ask any personal questions about the present, she stuck to a survey designed to flag for use even if it was 20 years ago! The husband then pushes in to tell you that they just so happen to offer classes that they recommend for you for $350 plus and they want to you pay immediately... SCAM!! On top of that he was rude, implied that I was "toxic", tried to make me pay for classes I didn't need, and then hung up on me.Best advice. Go somewhere else and if you absolutely must use this company, LIE, LIE, LIE.... "never done anything ever." "the first beer of my life" etc... seriously. It's the only way you stand a chance of getting out. I celebrated 21 years of sobriety in March and they gave me 12 hours because of "high risk". Total joke. Will never attend their classes....

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! THEY WANT MONEY VIA CASHAPP- NO REFUNDS, VERY LATE TO APPOINTMENT WITH NO UPDATE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND DEMANDING FOR $$. If I could go give this place zero stars I would! I had to pay $113 for my assessment VIA CASHAPP (WEIRD) and the guy was SO extremely demanding for my money. The woman was also extremely LATE to my zoom assessment by 35 minutes no call no nothing, I thought they had forgotten about me or ran with my money. The guy was extremely rude and pushy. He asked how much I had, I told him, and he was trying to get me to send him all my money only to leave me with $50 so I could secure my class. I didn t even need a level 2!! Another place who is CREDIBLE said I only need level 1! They tried to take more money than I should have been paying AND they will not refund. They are total SCAMMERS. Please don t go here they are so unprofessional and rude.

Took an assessment and decided to go elsewhere for classes. I had put a down-payment to hold my spot, because they were adament i needed to pay them ASAP at this place, and when asked if I could get that money back, I was told it was non refundable. However this was not disclosed to me at the time of payment and now I see why that were so urgent on me paying ASAP. Glad I only gave them a couple hundred dollars but at the end of the day, I'm out of that money and it could have went towards my fees elsewhere. For a place of ministry, I find them very dishonest and to be honest, feel like I was haggled. Won't recommend or return to this place but thought others should know how dishonest they are and recommend they seek treatment elsewhere.

Never Ever pay in full! Do payments. You can only miss one day in this class. If you get sick even with a doctors note they want to take your money and kick you out.I feel, you should pay as you go inase an emergency comes into play. I did love the groups and people not to mention the counselor.I now have to pay to go elsewhere .
