I learned so much attending the classes at New Hope Counseling. Changing learned negative behaviors and re-evaluating your life can be very difficult, especially if you aren't ready to make a change or remove toxic people from your life. If you are truly ready to do the work and remove destructive people/behaviors from your life, I absolutely recommend enrollment in the classes. If you're not ready, yea don't waste your money.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
program-for-men thumbnail image
Program For Men
Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
program-for-women thumbnail image
Program For Women
Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
child-program thumbnail image
Child Program
The providers who specialize in the children's rehab space understand the specialized needs that this population faces. School-based and social services such as tutoring and family counseling are often central to treatment. Child programs may also address the needs of youth experiencing substance abuse in the home, including a parent's or sibling's addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Many life skills involve coping with emotions and stress. Others involve completing tasks that allow you to live independently. Examples include finding a job, managing finances, and nutrition. During rehab in Georgia, you'll work on any skills that are lacking to ensure you have the tools for success post treatment.

If you can take your money and time any where else please do it !! I would give this place below 0 stars if I could. First of all they were trying to say my pee came out positive then they had no proof to show me. When I went and asked to speak to the director about my pee coming out positive and how that s 1000% false. The lady checking in the others was hysterical & telling me to leave and threatening to call the police i have it ALL on video she s being the aggressive one and i was staying calm ( over me asking to speak to the director about something that was very false and incorrect)I heard other clients from the beginning say this place was just a scam but I wanted to give it the benefit of doubt because I did think the teacher i had was genuine. Every week they were telling me that I owed from the last class even though I paid every single one. After the police was called on me nothing happened i kept emailing and calling to speak to ANYBODY and no one would pick up until i went there myself and asked what is going on? When I went to tell them that I allegedly owed them money and how we should proceed they told me to handle it with my probation officer. I called my probation officer and she agreed I didn t have to attend such an awful business. These people who run this place are only money motivated and definitely not there to help true struggling addicts.VERY unprofessional and clearly running an awful SCAM of a business. Please never attend this place take your money and time somewhere else. These people don t want to see you do better they just want to keep you there and add more weeks to make more money off of you!

I was actually naive enough to be hopeful that this place would offer me any, and I mean any, at all, semblance of help.I would get more from an AA meeting. This is the most misfortunate mixture of Cosmo girl quizzes, and AA meetings sans any discussion on topic. You steal and charge for hours of my own life as a punishment (it's certainly as a punishment because it is excruciating) discussing topics that have very little bearing/ relevancy on drug addiction.I mean it is very, very easy. which only further serves to highlight my point that this place is purely a revenue generator working in tandem w Hall Co Judicial Systems. We do not talk about any biological nor Physiological Contributing factors. But no counseling - none at all. that's what makes your name ironic. I am not counseled!!!!!!!!!!!For ex. for 2 or me hours our specific parenting style was discussed. OK great... and if you don't have children or care about receiving education like coping skills, triggers, etc too bad. Just pay them. Every class begins with money collection.I am sorry to Cause any offense to the people working here. It's just that you make no pretense about robbing time and money as a punishment under the false pretense of counseling for drug and alcohol addiction -Court ordered.

If I could give this place a lower rating I definitely would. They don t actually care about the health and well being of the people that have to take these classes. It s just another scam to make money for the govt. I recommend you put your money ELSEWHERE. Some of the instructors actually want to bond, most don t.

I d give this place no stars if that was an option. Don t waste your time nor money at this facility, bc that s exactly what you get is a waste of your time and money. I have been beside my significant other from the first day that he requested an evaluation to have his drivers license reinstated. He had the evaluation done in September, had to call many times for THREE months. It was December before we got the evaluation back on paper. The evaluation NEVER advised of any requirement ..it was a suggestion finally was enrolled in a treatment class. A payment of $30 a week was required and he tried to prepay in cash for the zoom meeting. They did not have change for $40 for a $30 class. Waited HOURS before, and after 6p for an email that would let him enter the zoom meeting. The email never came. This is one group of very inept and non caring counselors. They are eager to take your money and provide little to no service. Don t waste your time. If you are trying to overcome and meet personal expectations they will not assist you and will delay any good that you are trying to achieve. Go somewhere else. Trust me .go somewhere else. Anywhere else. I do not have a personal issue with this facility, but I do give reviews of any place that provides any service such as hotels, mechanics, doctors etc .I ALWAYS tell the truth, bc I believe people should know what they get when they pay money for services. I have documents with dates if I need proof to prove their lack of professionalism and respect for their clients.

I seen Amanda over a month ago, for a chemical treatment provider. I haven t had a DUI since July 4th 20012 I provided completion of substance abuse class, proof of intoxilock installed on car. My probation called new hope and they won t call her back, I have never failed drug or alcohol test. They told me first she is out of office for the week, then every time I call they say she is extremely busy, she will get to me, yesterday there excuses was she s not feeling well. I wish I would of took my $ elsewhere. Very unprofessional

If you can request make sure to get in class with LETIECIA SHE IS AWESOME! She made every class worthy to go to and included real life topics and examples in each class. She is very inclusive and makes sure everyone has had a good week before we even start. The whole team of ladies up there are laid back, easy to deal with, and understanding. I m very thankful for them making my experience the best they can and to the best of their ability.
