Dr. is uneducated about how ADHD shows up in women and calls it depression and anxiety like so many drs. Didn't ask me important questions like HOW LONG I have had hyperactive symptoms and just because they are slowing down as a middle age post menopausal woman I must be bipolar instead. If you are male he's got you covered. I must look elsewhere for help because this is a very low effort dr. So disappointing.

I would avoid this place at all costs. I scheduled an appointment for adhd treatment. The doctor ran through my whole previous history of things. Asked several clarifying questions about my past. They asked very few questions about my present mindset or issues. After hearing things from 20 years ago they decided I needed abilify first before anything else. Knowing rhe side effects of abilify it would only I crease my symptoms not help them. The building is absolutely disgusting. I would rate 0 foe this place if I could. They so t actually listen to what you day. Thankfully I have received help for my mental health in the past I and was able to make and educated decision on rather or not they were following a valid treatment plan. Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
inpatient iconInpatient
Clients who have just completed detox or who are at an increased risk of relapse, such as those experiencing a life crisis, typically enroll in an inpatient rehab. There, they receive housing, meals, and intensive clinical supervision. Inpatient treatment typically involves extensive individual, group, and family therapy. Clients may also participate in life skills training to support their long-term sobriety. Integrative rehab centers offer a variety of evidence-based holistic therapies, such as meditation or equine therapy.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.
partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
Designed for individuals with moderate to severe addictions, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides a more intensive form of outpatient therapy. PHP treatment can serve as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or as a step-down option after being discharged from a hospital or residential program. A partial hospitalization program typically requires a minimum of 20 hours weekly for an average of 90 days. Depending on your care plan, PHPs can include relapse prevention, medication management, and behavioral therapy services.
24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care
During initial recovery, withdrawal from alcohol, opiates, and benzodiazepines can involve high health risk. Attempting detox outside of 24-hour clinical care in Ohio is not recommended. This can be life-threatening because medical staff are not available to treat severe symptoms of withdrawal that often occur. Such symptoms can include seizures, delirium tremens, and extreme dehydration. In a clinical setting, staff are on-site to immediately care for your physical, emotional, and mental health needs.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Medical detox involves clearing your body of drugs and/or alcohol under the 24/7 care of licensed medical professionals. If you've become dependent on alcohol or drugs (like benzodiazepines or opioids), quitting abruptly can have uncomfortable and even dangerous side effects. The purpose of medically assisted detox is to keep you as safe and comfortable as possible during this process. Medications like Suboxone or Vivitrol may be provided if necessary to mitigate any withdrawal symptoms.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy in Ohio may occur in individual, group, or family sessions. It involves focusing on specific thought and behavior problems. Participants learn coping techniques and are asked to practice them as homework between sessions.

The main goals of dialectical behavior therapy are to teach you how to regulate your emotions, develop positive ways to cope with stress, improve your relationships, and live in the moment. This therapy lasts about six months and involves weekly individual and group sessions.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

With trauma therapy, you can reclaim your life after witnessing or experiencing a traumatic event. Therapists help you process the memories, which promotes emotional healing and enables you to build resilience to navigate future challenges and triggers.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I made it aware that I had never been to therapy or a psychiatrist before and, before the doctor even made an effort to hear or understand anything about my issues (10 minutes into the first visit), I was prescribed a bipolar medicine. I was already hyper aware of their treatment failures as these reviews pretty plainly state all the issues with this facility, but I was desperate. I started taking the meds and it quickly was apparent it was not working. I called back with my concerns and the doctor upped my dose of that medicine. I was walking around like a zombie, not sleeping and felt like I was in a haze. I called BACK to let her know and she suggested upping my dose again. I immediately denied and stopped any further communication with them. They are not interested in actually helping people. This facility seems to push for bipolar diagnoses, not even entertaining anything else. Not to mention the staff are so unbelievably rude, it doesn t feel like a safe space at all. You feel like a burden the entire time. Please do not go to this facility. It has hindered a lot of progress for me because I felt so defeated for so long after.

Very run down facility. Smells like cigarettes inside. I felt unsafe in many ways including the parking lot, sketchy elevator, etc. The actual doctor is not only located at another facility, but he's only there one day every other week and does EVERYTHING else virtually. I specifically requested an in person appointment and it was changed to over the phone. I chose to cancel instead. Neurobehavioral medicine is quite literally the last thing that should be done over the phone if you ask me.They also told me that they no longer have a therapist ......like that isn't the main thing that should be offered???

Rescheduled my appointments as telemedicine several times and then I never received a call at all. No one follows up with you. Very unorganized and clearly seeing more patients than they can handle.

I asked to see a therapist the first time I went because I was in desperate need of someone to talk to but they said I had to see the nurse first and she wouldn't let me say no to medication.I just wanted to talk to someone but got bipolar meds instead. The second appointment was a no go too.I wonder why they won't let me see a therapist?I'd give a zero if I could.
