Great classes, I learned all about my addiction and my need for better coping skills. The staff is very knowledgable and empathetic, always there when I needed something.

I have a really hard time going to the doctor. When I had been at cox I d come in with an issue and for a year I heard varying responses such as I m overweight (which for clarification I was and am still about 135 lbs, 5 7 and work out), I need to eat healthier, I m depressed, and so on. As it turned out my gallbladder was failing on me. I spent a year dealing with nurses and doctors who told me I was a liar and never took me seriously until one surgeon did. I d come to my old family doctor about my throat and they recommended I see a therapist for anxiety. As it turned out I had bronchitis. It s been two years and I needed to see the doctor again on account of some issues. My doctor Addison was so nice and so helpful. She took my concerns seriously and was very thorough. The staff is nothing but nice. It was easy to make an appointment. I had blood work done and the nurses were quick, efficient, and respectful. I just wanted to say something positive. 100% recommend

This place has some very helpful , dedicated faculty. Some of the folks I call Earth Angels. Nothing is a one size fits all, but this, you will be able to relate to, and find better direction. Thankful for the opportunity to be able to rate this place. If your reading this because your needing a real opinion, take my word, it can be over whelming, this place will help guide you back. Knowledge is wisdom.

Love the staff and the building! The only thing that makes me sad is there is no more decorations for things like Fall or Christmas. Rumor has it, there was a complaint due to Olympic decorations and the supporting of the athletes who worked so hard to be able to go and someone complained about it. I get the controversy the Olympics had this year, but showing support for the athletes and what it stands for is honary. They should not be shamed for it and should be able to decorate for fall and Christmas! One bad apple ruined it for everyone else! Let them decorate! It brings happiness and joy!!!!

The environment surrounding this place is filled with positive and happy energy, this place is very different from other recovery centers.

The counselors are so helpful and understanding. They care about you and your recovery, I'm so grateful to have met everyone and to be completely free!

I could not be more grateful to the CSTAR team! I truly believe that they helped save my son from the dark path he was on. He was admitted into the inpatient treatment program so we got to experience all of what CSTAR offers. I would personally like to give a shout out to Jordan, Chris, James, and Angie. Thank you for all that you do and this career you have chosen. It is not easy but hopefully rewarding to see the change in these young adults/kids. You all are very much appreciated :)

Although this place does not have fun group stuff to do and is cheap (What do expect from government funding?), I truly felt like the staff genuinely cared about my well-being . Yes I was freezing and couldn't sleep (that's the withdrawals), but I was treated with so much respect and care by the staff on duty. I felt so safe and cared for. The fact that these people probably don't get paid enough to care about me, and that the funds are low, they STILL work here because they truly care about the people who need their help. Detox is not fun. But at least people care enough to put in the effort to help you and give you tools you need for your mental well being. Kudos to the staff this weekend I am truly grateful for your love, kindness, and support. Faith in humanity. - Courtney
